Audi A8 D3: A Love Affair

Someone wrote it's a disease :)) And it is! This is a damn good car you can hardly detach from... the engine is a dream, handling and comfort are an 11 out of 10. What else can I say, once you get in, you'll never want to get out. Don't get in! :)

Pros: Fantastic engine, Superb handling and comfort
Cons: Addictive, hard to get out of

Audi A8 D3: A Money Pit

The fanboy hype for the Audi is outrageous. This car is a giant money pit. It might have been good in the hands of a German businessman. Worn-out wrecks with rolled-back odometers on the Polish market are only fit for scrap. I bought this car thinking that by investing in consumables, it would last me a few years. I was disappointed. In one year, I spent nearly 20,000 PLN, and there was no end in sight: constant problems with the air suspension, non-functioning ventilation, and an unreliable tiptronic transmission.

Pros: Potentially a good car for its original purpose
Cons: Extremely expensive to maintain, Unreliable air suspension, Faulty ventilation system, Problematic tiptronic gearbox, Poor value on the used market

A8 D3: Elegant and Corrosion-Free

Elegant car. The only failure over years of use was the fuel pressure sensor (there are two for each cylinder bank in the V8), the car ran unevenly and smelled of fuel under the hood. Replacement took 10 minutes, the sensor cost (note! bought on AliExpress ;) - 200 PLN. The A8 D3 beats the competition because its entire body, chassis, and frame are made of aluminum. I remember how much I used to paint BMWs and Mercedes that corroded in our winters (bottoms of doors, fender edges, trunk lid edges, etc.). With a car made of...

Pros: Elegant design, Aluminum body and chassis prevent corrosion
Cons: Fuel pressure sensor can fail
