A8 D4: The Hybrid Beast

In my opinion, a complete car. The RS6 Performance dressed in an S8 body, with all the advantages of a flagship sedan and an RS model! A car of two faces; unlike the RS6, it can be very comfortable and luxurious, and transforms into a savage when desired.

Pros: Complete package, Comfortable and luxurious, Performance beast
Cons: Can be expensive

A8 D4: A Higher Standard

My rating is based on the context of higher-class and luxury cars. Therefore, a 'good' opinion will stem from experiences with the Audi A6, A8, Jaguar XKR, or Porsche Cayenne S, NOT compact cars. Because such a comparison would be meaningless.

Pros: Executive class benchmark, Refined luxury experience
Cons: Not for compact car comparison

A8 D4: A New Level of Driving

I switched to the A8 after several years of driving a BMW 7 Series. I remember the E65 fondly, but the F01 was a total failure with bearing issues, vibrations, etc. Unfortunately, the Audi is 50% more expensive for the same year as the BMW. What convinced me to go with Audi was the lack of a V8 diesel in new BMWs. The car is brilliant; I feel it's on the level of a Maybach or Lexus LS. I won't write about the equipment because it has everything. What stands out is what's missing in BMWs – quattro. Permanent all-wheel drive is simply a new level of driving.

Pros: Brilliant car, comparable to Maybach or Lexus LS, Permanent quattro all-wheel drive offers a new driving experience
Cons: 50% more expensive than BMW 7 Series for the same year
