BMW 4 Series G22-23-26: A Worthy Successor

This car has gracefully replaced my 2018 GLE Coupe and 2011 Porsche Panamera in my heart. It's beautiful, aggressive, with 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, and surprisingly economical. It's divine and modern. The new multimedia system with its large screen is a marvel.

Pros: Stunningly beautiful and aggressive design, Impressive acceleration (0-100 km/h in 4.3s), Good fuel efficiency, Divine and modern interior, Excellent new multimedia system with large screen
Cons: May be too aggressive for some drivers, High-tech features might require an adjustment period

BMW 4 Series G22-23-26 Review

This is my 8th BMW. I was a bit skeptical about the 4-cylinder engine, but after 2 years of use, I must say it's a revelation. I've driven 38,000 km and half of Europe in this car. It's dynamic and economical, not exceeding 7.5 liters per 100 km with normal use (Xdrive). Comfortable for long trips, and the trunk is spacious despite the coupe body. I'm very satisfied so far.

Pros: Dynamic and economical 4-cylinder engine, Comfortable for long distances, Spacious trunk for a coupe

BMW 1 Series F40

I bought the car at a very good price from Q2 2021. It was an excellent move, not just because of galloping inflation. You quickly get used to the famous 'engine vibrations', and the refinement is better than I expected. Service costs (if using your own filters, oils, and parts) are no higher than in an Opel. The quality of materials is top-notch, and considering the price compared to the competition and their quality (even for new cars)...

Pros: Excellent value for money, High-quality interior materials, Surprising refinement for the engine, Competitive service costs (DIY parts)
Cons: Engine vibrations take some getting used to

7 Series G11-G12

Full battery charge up to 35 km, 12 kWh. Cost in Germany: 12x €0.25. On a full battery in hybrid eco pro mode... it's about 7 l/100km... don't believe the descriptions... Electricity average is 30 kWh/km when driving up to 100km/h. On pure electricity with a full battery, you'll get a maximum of 30 km on a straight road, maybe 35... my commute is 12 km from home... it shows me 33km... upon arriving at work, I have 12 km left. True, I have a lot of uphill on the way back... I charge the empty battery for free at work, but unfortunately it disconnects after 1 hour.

Pros: Quiet and comfortable ride, Impressive acceleration, Luxurious interior
Cons: Lower-than-expected electric range, Expensive to purchase and maintain, Complex infotainment system

5 Series G30-G31 Review

I bought this car for family trips, both near and far. While it can't carry bikes, strollers, or tents – I only use hotels – it also works perfectly for my 30km daily commute. It's a great performer.

Pros: Excellent for family trips, Ideal for daily commutes
Cons: Limited cargo space for large items

5 Series G90/G91

Nice car, but in this class, it's very unreliable with failing electronics... For the money... a definite NO!

Pros: Pleasant car
Cons: Very unreliable for its class, Failing electronics, Poor value for money

5 Series G30-G31: Three Years On

After three years of use, I find it was an exceptional time of great operation. Of course, something will always happen in every car to annoy us. With the G30 II, there were no breakdowns. Full comfort of use was provided by the Service (in my case, Bońkowscy Szczecin). Minor issues - oil leak from the rear shock absorbers, which were replaced under warranty. More serious was a cracked 19" alloy wheel with a slight tire seal loss - replaced via insurance. The windshield loses clarity a bit too quickly.

Pros: Exceptional driving experience, Excellent service experience, No major breakdowns requiring towing
Cons: Oil leak from rear shock absorbers, Cracked 19" alloy wheel, Windshield losing clarity quickly
