BMW 4 Series F32-F33-F36 Review

A great car for long trips. The seats are comfortable and the wind in your hair is a real pleasure. A big plus is the metal roof. Driving on German autobahns over 200 km/h is bearable. With the roof down, the car is very quiet, allowing for a calm ride. With the windscreen net, there's barely any wind up to 150 km/h, though typically you drive slower with the top down. The neck-level heating is a friendly option. I personally chose the M brakes, which was a good decision given the car's weight.

Pros: Comfortable seats for long journeys, Enjoyable open-top driving experience, Sturdy metal roof, Stable at high speeds, Quiet with the roof down, Effective windscreen net for reduced wind, Neck-level heating is a nice feature
Cons: Car is heavy, requires good brakes

BMW 4 Series (F32-33-36): Disappointment from Lexus

Unfortunately, I must express my dissatisfaction. I switched from a 13-year-old Lexus and I'm disappointed. The car, despite very low mileage, excellent overall condition, no accidents, purchased from a dealer, behaves as if it were assembled in a toy store. The worst thing that bothers me is the creaking interior. I realize BMW isn't an icon of quality, but in such a young car, this shouldn't happen. After switching from a hybrid, city driving is not very pleasant. Delayed reaction.

Pros: Excellent overall condition, Low mileage, No accident history
Cons: Creaking interior plastics, Delayed throttle response in city driving, Disappointing build quality compared to Lexus
