BMW X1 E84: A Significant Upgrade

I switched from a Ford Kuga MK1, and honestly, there's a world of difference between the two. While the Kuga isn't a bad car (I rated it very positively on Autocentrum), when compared to the BMW X1, it's not even in the same league. Although the X1 appears significantly smaller at first glance, it offers more interior space than my previously used Kuga. Overall, a car that's a big positive.

BMW X1 e84: A Versatile Family Car

Used as a second family car. I'll write about its good driving characteristics, but after switching from a 3 Series, the road feel is still lacking. It's a relatively expensive car, well-equipped, quite dynamic, and offers a sense of prestige (rich trim). However, when passing an X3 or X5, something seems to be missing :) I'll start with the positives: the engine is very good. I had it before in a 3 Series, and at 230,000 km, I needed to blank the swirl flaps, had an expensive timing belt replacement, and clutch (without dual-mass).

Cons: Lacks road feel compared to 3 Series, Relatively expensive, Something missing compared to X3/X5, Expensive timing belt replacement (historically), Clutch replacement (historically)
