BMW X1 F48: Practicality Wins Over Emotion

I expected a slightly worse score because I bought the car more out of reason than emotion. A positive surprise regarding quality in a compact. It definitely beats the competition. Unfortunately, the interior is a bit dated, but the car's practicality compensates for everything. For me, a huge plus is the lack of touch controls; all buttons and knobs are analog and superbly made. The engine is very efficient, the driving dynamics are excellent – but it's a BMW, so high expectations are warranted. Fuel consumption is significant.

Pros: Excellent build quality for a compact, Superior to competitors, Highly practical, Fantastic analog controls, Efficient engine, Great driving dynamics
Cons: Interior feels a bit dated, High fuel consumption

BMW X1 F48 Review: Versatile SAV

A very good, reliable, and thoughtfully designed car. More SAV or crossover than SUV. Exceptionally versatile and universal. High quality and technology. Better for a couple than a family due to its compact size. The 2.5i version is top-tier, providing much joy, enhanced by both standard and optional features. Suitable for both city and highway driving, it's compact for urban maneuverability and spacious (and fast) enough for fatigue-free journeys.

Pros: Excellent reliability and quality, Thoughtful and versatile design, Top-tier 2.5i engine offers great performance, Suitable for city and long-distance travel, High-tech features enhance driving pleasure
Cons: Limited rear space for families, Compact dimensions may not suit large families

BMW X1 F48: Practicality Champion

Bought the Xdrive 20d with 70k km from a BMW dealership. I've driven 30k km in it so far. This is our second X1 with identical specs, so I can comment on two models (one from 2015, the other from 2016). I searched for over 6 months for a car, specifically xdrive, under 120k km, larger, and comfortable for long trips, within the 150-160k PLN budget. I considered the 3GT, 5GT, and tested the F10, X4, and X6. For my build (100kg and 195cm), I lacked space in the X4 and it wasn't suitable.

Pros: Practicality and SUV-like ride height, Comfortable for long distances, Xdrive provides confidence in various conditions
Cons: Interior space might be limited for very tall individuals
