X1 U11 Review

The assessment might not be entirely objective yet due to the short usage period, but after a few days of driving both in the city and outside, including on the highway, the X1 20i (170 HP) appears to be a very successful car in terms of ergonomics, build quality, and high refinement of the engine and suspension. I also had the opportunity to test the 18i version with a 136 HP engine, and the 20i version I purchased is clearly optimal (the required minimum) in terms of power (you can feel safe during overtakes).

Pros: Excellent ergonomics, High build quality, Refined engine and suspension, Sufficient power for overtaking
Cons: Initial assessment not fully objective due to short use

X1 U11 Review

I've been using this car for 9 months. My opinion is absolutely positive, even with the smallest petrol engine - 1.5 136hp. The car handles well, though front-wheel drive means you have to hold the steering wheel firmly during sudden acceleration - you can simply feel the front-wheel drive working. It's tall, I'm 193cm and getting in is super comfortable for me. The looks are top-notch. I have adaptive LED lights and they are world-class. I recommend it, I would buy this car again, although regarding the issue of the itself...

Pros: Excellent handling for its class, Very comfortable ingress/egress, Stunning exterior design, Superb adaptive LED headlights
Cons: Requires firm steering during hard acceleration due to FWD

X1 u11 Review

A great car. Easy to drive with stable suspension. It's a bit stiff but absorbs bumps well. The engine is excellent and very responsive. Driving modes are well-chosen. Switching to sport mode with a boost on the shifter awakens a sports car with incredible acceleration. It feels like a sports car. A family car for calm driving, yet mega sporty. After all, it has 218 HP. Good sound insulation. Comfortable seats, and I recommend the massage function. Plus, the sound system.

Pros: Light handling and stable suspension, Excellent and responsive engine, Well-selected driving modes with sport boost, Comfortable seats with massage function, Good sound insulation
Cons: Slightly stiff ride

X1 U11 Review

BMW X1 U11 1.5L mild hybrid engine, 170 HP. Two months old, 744 km driven on highways and city. Unfortunately, it consumes too much fuel, with an average of 7.1 L/100km overall and 5.5 L/100km on the highway. This is my fifth new car and first BMW. Overall, it's super - a great compromise between quality/price, comfort/acceleration, with an excellent appearance (for me), spacious enough, high ground clearance, predictable suspension, and steering. The pillars...

Pros: Great quality/price compromise, Excellent comfort/acceleration balance, Attractive design, Spacious interior, High ground clearance, Predictable handling
Cons: High fuel consumption

X1 U11 Review

A very successful car overall. Visually attractive, spacious and roomy for its 4.5 meters. I recommend Alcantara over faux leather. The steering wheel is one of the best on the market; thick and well-profiled, in my opinion. Heads-up display - recommended. You don't need to take your eyes off the road. Other pros include the quality of the finish, the soundproofing (up to 120 km/h), which is still okay above that speed, but not great. Good materials, well-fitted parts, camera quality.

Pros: Attractive visual design, Spacious interior for its size, High-quality Alcantara option, Excellent steering wheel design, Recommended heads-up display, Good interior finish and materials, Effective soundproofing up to 120 km/h, Good camera quality
Cons: Soundproofing less effective above 120 km/h
