The X5 made me fall in love with large premium SUVs for their versatility – this car truly has it all: space, comfort, performance, surprisingly good handling, and complete peace of mind regardless of weather conditions or road surface quality. I owned the car for 2.5 years and drove 63,000 km during that time, and I honestly can't say a bad word about it – in almost every situation...

This car is spacious, comfortable, and handles very well, but it's definitely for a calm driving style. The base 2.0 engine paired with the sluggish gearbox does a great job, fitting the 'grandpa car' description from another comment. The BMW X5 40e hybrid is the best option in the F15 lineup. It's the most sensible choice, balancing economy, maintenance costs, reliability, and comfort. The purchase price is excellent. BMW has created a great, even outstanding, vehicle that dominates the competition. It has character, style, and performance.
