BMW X6 F16: Striking Looks, Steep Price of Ownership
The car is as beautiful as it is expensive to maintain. Starting from 100,000 km, costly visits to authorized service centers begin. Better to think twice before buying. I also have a GLC from the same year, admittedly a 2.2 Diesel, but it's a rocket; only oil and filter changes. BMW brake pads last 20,000 km, discs a maximum of 40,000 km, and the cost is 7-10 thousand! For discs! Oil changes are 3,000! AC costs 17,000! Full set of tires is 8-10 thousand! Failures and leaks from the rear axle cost 8,000, oil pan seepages 5,000. Now the engine has failed.
