Berlingo i: A Dependable Workhorse
Writing a second review as the car is still with me. At 280,000 km, a map was installed for 115 HP and 250 Nm. The tuner asked if I had a new turbo, as it was performing so well at that mileage, haha. Yes, indeed. At 450,000 km... original turbo, clutch replaced once, original injectors and the rest of the injection system (mine are Siemens, which were/are supposedly worse than Bosch). Original front shock absorbers lasted 370,000 km. Rear ones are still going. The rear axle was refurbished (in Piła - greetings!) at 170,000 km.
Pros:
Incredibly durable original turbo at high mileage., Original injectors and injection system reliability., Impressive longevity of original front shock absorbers., Rear shock absorbers still functioning., Resilient rear axle.
Cons:
Rear axle required refurbishment.
