C3 i: A Disappointing Machine

I don't know another construction so unsuccessful. Constant breakdowns of the engine, equipment, ABS, suspension, electronics, corrosion. One star is for the fuel consumption, which can fluctuate around 7-8 liters of gas. Be careful with gas; misaligned engine maps and their consequences are another nail in the coffin. No matter how much money you invest in this car, you can still expect a breakdown when you get in it in the morning.

Pros: Low fuel consumption (7-8l gas)
Cons: Engine failures, Equipment breakdowns, ABS issues, Suspension problems, Electronic failures, Corrosion, Engine map issues with LPG, Unreliable; frequent breakdowns expected

Citroën C3 1.4 HDi: A Reliable Companion

I bought this C3 1.4 HDi in 2012 as a 4-year-old car with 49,000 km and have been using it ever since. The odometer now reads 152,000 km. I'm very positively surprised by this car during its ownership. The vehicle is practical and remarkably reliable, and the engine is a revelation in terms of dependability. Just remember to change the oil and filters every 10,000 km. I replace the timing belt every 70,000 km. Other minor repairs include replacing bulbs, tires, and injector hoses. In a word, I'm surprised by its reliability.

Pros: Practical, Extremely reliable, Excellent, dependable engine
Cons: Minor repairs like bulbs and hoses

Citroën C3 i: A Reliable Workhorse

Amazing car, I don't know where the negative comments come from. The 1.4 HDI 68 HP engine, without DPF and dual-mass flywheel, has already covered around 300,000 km. Imported, so maybe even more. So far, no major breakdowns, only replacement of turbo pipes and plastic engine bay components, plus discs and pads. Fuel consumption on the highway/expressway at 110-120 km/h is about 3.5-4 L/100km, making it almost free to drive. It consumes the most in the city on short trips in winter.

Pros: Excellent fuel economy, Reliable powertrain (1.4 HDI), Low maintenance costs
Cons: Higher city fuel consumption in winter, Some minor plastic component wear
