First paint and already 19 years old. These cars must have a soul...
This '83 car is rust-free. The engine runs like new despite having 73,000 miles. The interior is really okay, but the exterior is a disaster for me.
You have to slam the doors hard so they don't open. The "beautiful" bright green color...
I don't know if there's a more unreliable car, if there is, it's: 'God Save the Queen'.
Fond memories, as it was comfortable to drive, economical, and had a powerful trunk. I had it from 1996-2000.
Driving this car now, I know how a Ferrari owner feels. Simply put, everyone stares :D
A nicer body and better finishing care would be useful. The gear lever would need to be moved back. Three-bolt rims are not the best, they require modification. And the place for the radio, or rather, its absence!
What's there to write? I have 33,000 km on the odometer, so the car is practically new. It's been garaged the entire time, and everything works. The owner didn't drive it at all in winter; in fact, they didn't even take it out of the garage when it rained, and I praise them for that. The only expense I'm considering is buying chrome side mirrors and new tires, even though the tread is good! But the rubber is 20 years old. When I get in, I feel like I'm transported 20 years back to the PRL era, listening to music on a Safari 5 radio.
A colleague advised me to get a Dacia because I was in a tough financial situation and it was the cheapest option. I bought it for 450 PLN! Previously, I had a 1985 Polonez 1.5 - no comparison. With the Polonez, you could feel it when you pressed the gas, but here??? The car cost me 450 PLN, but right away I had to put 200 PLN into it :(. I tried to sell it for 250 PLN, but there were no takers!!! If it weren't for this situation, I would never have bought it - stay away from this junk!
What more can I say? It feels like everything has already been said. But generally speaking, I was satisfied with my Dacia. It was a comfortable car with moderate fuel consumption and not the highest failure rate. Although there were some breakdowns, I can confidently give it a BIG 4.
A family car that's comfortable.
It depends on the specific unit you get. I got a great one, although my brother-in-law's engine 'died' at 85,000 km.
I remember it fondly, especially after the engine rebuild (6l/100km on the road...). Just the metal though... I had the 'Flintstones' – a hole in the floor and even bullet-hole-like rust on the wheel arches. It had rusted through so much.
A good car for beginners, with enough power for some spirited driving! :):)
Nice, but the rear end is so abruptly cut off, as if the designer was in a hurry.
This is my first car, inherited from my father. You can learn from your mistakes on it, as you can always fix minor and some larger issues yourself. You need to take care of the bodywork from the start, so it doesn't fall apart. Parts can be hard to find in scrapyards; they are often compatible with Renault parts, but the price is high :(. I'm looking for contact with current/former owners.
This car isn't practical for much, but it's recognized as being durable and simple to repair. At around 2000 PLN, it could be a bargain for someone buying their first car.
A 1991 model with LPG. This car is perfect for DIY enthusiasts, straightforward to operate, and excellent for learning automotive mechanics, like the carburetor throttle shaft mounted on teflon bearings. Plenty of space in the engine bay makes tinkering easy. Well-maintained, it will reward you with reliability!
