Sandero III Review
A super car - simple and has what it should have (camera, front-rear sensors, auto climate, radar, navigation, wireless Android Auto, etc.). Does one need more for the city? My observed drawbacks are: the fuel consumption of my specific unit (this is clearly a problem with my car only), the soundproofing (could be slightly better in the engine bay, like in the Duster), the gearbox (selection is quite imprecise), and the start & stop system, which cannot be permanently disabled and needs to be switched off.
Pros:
Excellent value for money, Well-equipped for its price point, Practical for city driving
Cons:
Specific unit fuel consumption issue, Engine bay soundproofing could be better, Imprecise gearbox, Start & stop difficult to disable

I opted for the Stepway and don't regret it :). I took the maximally equipped version for 70k PLN, solely because all extra Dacia offers are practical things at a low cost, while a comparable trim from competitors would be at least 20-30k more. I've only driven 5,000 km (2-3k gently for break-in, then without coddling) and I can confidently say it's money well spent. The 3-cylinder engine has a specific operation and you need to get used to its sound, but otherwise, it runs nicely.
Pros:
Excellent value for money, Practical features offered at low cost, High trim level at an affordable price compared to rivals
Cons:
Unique engine sound requires getting used to

The car is worth its price. It handles well both on regular roads and off-road. The finish is satisfactory. Average fuel consumption: 8 l/100km for petrol, 9 l/100km for gas. On the downside, the shark fin antenna I bought extra doesn't work correctly, with significant interference, and the service can't fix it. I have rubber floor mats, but they don't fit well; I don't recommend them. The driver's mat is secured, but all the others slide around. The roof rails, made of beams, are a great idea, but... after mounting them crosswise, they are bent, so
Pros:
Good handling on-road and off-road, Satisfactory finish, Worth the price
Cons:
Aftermarket antenna causes interference, Poorly fitting rubber floor mats, Bent roof rails after installation

Basically a pretty good car, but only as a second car for the family or for a small family/single person for commuting, shopping, and short weekend trips. The third generation finally has a nice silhouette and good equipment (automatic climate control, reverse camera, electric parking brake, blind-spot sensors). The interior is hard and slightly creaky, but acceptable and comfortable. Unfortunately, there are also downsides. The engine rattles terribly, which the dealership initially considers a defect and tries to fix.
Pros:
Nice silhouette, Good equipment (auto AC, reverse camera, EPB, blind spot sensors), Acceptable and comfortable interior
Cons:
Engine rattles terribly, Hard and slightly creaky interior

We bought it... A disaster. Don't buy this 'driving machine' without a test drive. My uncle has better comfort in a tractor. This car - sorry, this 'driving machine' has no sound insulation. A disaster. When you accelerate, you can hear the engine like a 1940s Zetor. I spent 3000 PLN on soundproofing - now it's somewhat bearable. I've had it for a year and it's torture for me. I will sell it, I will sell it. I know it will be much cheaper. Hard to endure this torture. Life's failure.
Pros:
Soundproofing improved after 3000 PLN investment
Cons:
Extremely poor comfort, No sound insulation, Loud engine noise, Terrible driving experience, Not recommended without a test drive

No other choice - I have the 2025 model, 12,000 km covered since July (4 months), a car for the city and general commuting... quite good, especially for the price of less than 73,000 PLN, with maximum equipment, manual gearbox. Basic drawbacks: 1). Vents (air conditioning - heating) cannot be adjusted in all directions, either it blows somewhere and you're cold or hot... 2). Very hard seats, after a while you start to realize they are very uncomfortable - after an hour of driving, you've had enough...
Pros:
Good value for money, Full equipment, Suitable for city and commuting
Cons:
Limited vent adjustability (HVAC), Uncomfortable, hard seats

Problem: Battery
Well finished for a Dacia. Low fuel consumption (average 5L/100km). Sufficiently equipped and comfortable. Enough power for some overtakes. A bit noisy on the highway. Sensor problem appears/disappears "check SOS button" when it's cold. Battery problem, but resolved after manufacturer feedback. Sometimes capricious when cold (it stutters), it's better to let it warm up.
Pros:
Well finished for a Dacia, Low fuel consumption (average 5L/100km), Sufficiently equipped and comfortable, Enough power for some overtakes
Cons:
A bit noisy on the highway, Sensor issue: "check SOS button" appears/disappears in cold, Battery issue resolved by manufacturer, Can be sluggish when cold, needs warm-up
