Peugeot 5008: Disappointing - A Mixed Bag

The Peugeot 5008 aims for practicality but falls short. While the driving experience is pleasant and the interior is appealing with decent finishes, its lack of power becomes a significant issue, especially on inclines where it struggles. The fuel consumption is also surprisingly high.

Pros: Rather pleasant to drive, Nice cabin, Correct finishes
Cons: Not enough power for its weight, struggles uphill, Enormous fuel consumption

Fiat 500X 1.6 e TorQ (110 Hp) SUV, Crossover 65,000 km

Issue: Timing Chain

Reliability, engine smoothness, and quietness. Looks good. Can run on 80% E85 without modification. Good driving position. Only engine with a timing chain available on the gasoline 500X until now. Lacks power in extreme conditions (loaded vehicle on highway uphill with roof box). No issues in 65,000 km.

Pros: Engine reliability, smoothness, and quietness., Attractive styling., Can use 80% E85 without modifications., Comfortable driving position., Timing chain engine available on gasoline 500X.
Cons: Lack of power in extreme conditions (loaded car on highway uphill with roof box).

Fiat 500X 1.6 e TorQ (110 Hp) SUV, Crossover 29,000 km

Bad - 500X

The car is beautiful. The trunk is sufficient. However, fuel consumption is high regardless of driving mode. U-connect updates have been unavailable for months. Poor manufacturing quality and design flaws in some parts. Fiat customer service is disingenuous. On a 10/2015 vehicle with 29,000 km, warranty extended for 2 years and always serviced at Fiat, two problems occurred within weeks. While not severe, they are unacceptable. 15 days after the revision...

Pros: Beautiful car, Sufficient trunk space
Cons: High fuel consumption in all driving modes., No U-connect updates for months. Poor build quality and design of some parts. Dishonest Fiat SAV., On a 10/2015 vehicle with 29,000km, extended 2-year warranty, always serviced at FIAT, 2 problems in a few weeks, not very serious but unacceptable. 15 days after the revision..., It floats in its place. Upon closer inspection, the clips of the part show almost no wear. Resin seems to seal the part, but it's brittle. Return..., Torq and parts falling off by themselves, difficult to get covered by Fiat SAV after only 3 years... First and last Fiat for me, and I won't venture...
