Bravo II

Car bought after being imported from Italy. It's essentially an intermediate model between the Punto and Croma, a perfect blend of both. The Bravo II combines dynamism with space, suitable for spirited city driving and comfortable long journeys. A relatively large trunk, high roofline over the rear seats, and ample legroom for the driver and front passenger allow comfortable travel for 4 adults. Flexible engine, affordable spare parts, and...

Pros: Good blend of dynamics and space, Comfortable for 4 adults, Large trunk, Flexible engine, Affordable spare parts

Bravo II: Still Impressive

The Bravo II is the best car I've ever driven, and I've driven quite a few. Despite its teenage years, it's in better shape than many younger cars owned by my friends (whoever takes care of it, has it). Nevertheless, it's a Fiat, and that means being prepared for surprises. My review concerns one of the first model years, which is now 12 years old. The important thing is that those 12 years are hardly visible. The fundamental aspect is vehicle maintenance. My example is exceptionally well-maintained.

Pros: Excellent condition for its age, Better than newer vehicles
Cons: Potential for unexpected issues (Fiat characteristic)

My Bravo II Emotion

I bought this Fiat Bravo 1.9 88kW/120hp from 2007, Emotion trim, in February of this year as my first car. The previous owner imported it from Italy and sold it to me after a year. The purchase price was 10k (currency not specified), but that wasn't the end of the expenses :) The first modification I made was tinting the windows with good quality film (85% light absorption) for 460 zł. The first service included replacing the timing belt, water pump, and front brakes; this cost 1200 zł at a mechanic friend's place. A week later, I changed the fluids.

Pros: Good first car purchase, Stylish Emotion trim
Cons: Initial expenses beyond purchase price, Needs immediate service after purchase

Bravo II

Before buying, I read the Autocentrum reviews for the car, so I'll also take the time to write a few words. I bought the car with 50,000 km on the odometer and have since driven it over 100,000 km. I can only say that it's a good value for money. I bought the car because the engine handles LPG very well, and that was the main purchase factor. Pros - Very cheap spare parts (timing belt kit 250 PLN) - Spacious trunk over 400 liters - Plenty of space for driver and passengers, I'm 1.85 cm tall - Very good engine, simple in its design.

Pros: Excellent value for money, Engine handles LPG very well, Inexpensive spare parts (e.g., timing belt kit), Large trunk capacity (>400 liters), Spacious interior for driver and passengers

Bravo II

I drove this car for 11 years and am writing this review after selling it and driving another car. The car was very reliable. Apart from running costs – brake pads, battery, timing belt – the only surprise and fault was the airflow meter, which for some reason was clogged with leaves and generated flow errors. Replacement was cheap and done by myself due to the simplicity of the repair. Similarly, replacing the light fixtures was easy to do yourself and they rarely burn out. The engine is economical and dynamic. Very

Pros: Impeccable reliability, Economical and dynamic engine, Easy DIY maintenance tasks, Rarely failing light fixtures
Cons: Airflow meter clogged with leaves

Bravo II: A 7-Year, 70k km Ownership Review

Owned for 7 years and 70,000 km, with full service history (Millers oil every ~12k km/yearly). Top engine, full Emotion spec. Review at 200,000 km. Exceeds expectations: very reliable, great engine, well-protected (and attractive) body, excellent equipment, and generous boot space. The rest is average, with minor electrical glitches.

Pros: Exceptional reliability, Strong, well-performing engine, Beautiful and durable bodywork, Generous boot capacity, Comprehensive equipment
Cons: Minor electrical faults

Bravo II

I've always wanted to buy this car due to its attractive body styling, reliability, nice interior, center console, dashboard, nothing creaks while driving. The interior of the Bravo can be compared to the Focus II, the German car looks very pale, ugly, and cheap. It's pleasant and comfortable to drive this little Fiat. It's a shame that on a domestic car from 2010 with 160,000 km, the sills had to be replaced already, the worst was on the driver's side, after cleaning, a huge hole appeared, before

Pros: Attractive body styling, Reliability, Nice interior, Solid dashboard and center console, Comfortable ride
Cons: Sills needed replacement at 160,000 km, Driver's side sill had a large hole

Bravo II

I bought the car directly from the first owner in Germany. I've driven 80,000 km in it, which isn't a huge mileage for a diesel, but during that time, unfortunately, I had to deal with necessary wear-and-tear repairs: complete clutch replacement with dual-mass flywheel, air conditioning compressor replacement, most of the exhaust system repairs (EGR valve replacement, DPF regeneration, exhaust components + muffler replacement, intake manifold cleaning). The bodywork, unfortunately, is not...

Pros: Diesel engine efficiency, Relatively affordable repairs for a diesel
Cons: Expensive clutch and dual-mass flywheel replacement, Air conditioning compressor failure, Extensive exhaust system issues (EGR, DPF, muffler), Intake manifold cleaning required, Unspecified bodywork issues

Bravo II: A Great Car Worth Its Price!

An excellent car, worth its price! I've owned my Bravo for over 6 years, purchased from the first owner, in the Sport version, in Blue Maserati color. Throughout this time, I have nothing to complain about with this car – it has never let me down. Of course, it has its flaws: I've already replaced the turbocharger and the climatronic actuators, but are any cars at the price used Bravos go for free from such things? I don't think so. Here, we get a relatively recent model year car with a good engine, great for

Pros: Excellent value for money, Reliable vehicle, Good engine performance
Cons: Turbocharger may require replacement, Climatronic actuators can be an issue

Bravo II

One star inflated due to sentiment - the Bravo was my first car, and one I bought with my own money. I bought it at 18 years old with 249,000 km and used it for about 9 months, from March to December. During this time, I drove approximately 20,000 kilometers. Its size is ideal, accommodating 4 adults comfortably inside (with a rear armrest), and the trunk was sufficient for packing for a week-long trip abroad. The Fiat's small size allows...

Pros: Ideal size for urban use, Spacious interior for 4 adults, Generous trunk space for its class
Cons: Older model, potential for wear and tear, Engine performance may be modest

Problem: Gearbox

Cold start problems with no online solution. Fiat seems to have forgotten this model, and there's no repair manual (RTA). The 6-speed gearbox also broke. Cost €1200 for a reconditioned gearbox.

Problem: Gearbox

The car is generally good, easy to drive, comfortable, and cheap to maintain. However, the engine is underpowered. The bodywork is fragile, and the gearbox seal needs attention. The door cable broke, and the hood release cable also broke. The handle is too fragile and doesn't hold.

Pros: Very easy to drive, Comfortable, Low maintenance cost, Good car overall, Engine is too underpowered
Cons: Fragile bodywork, Gearbox oil seal, Broken door cable, Broken hood release cable, Handle too fragile
