Problem: Alternator

Comfort, 5-seater version with central fridge, quiet vehicle, with trailer hitch, always a pleasure. Except for the plastic coverings that deteriorated significantly with sun and temperature. Dashboard plastics, door handle required stripping and painting. For the dashboard, wood reconstruction of interior door handles and gearshift. Alternator replaced at 235,000 km, battery every year in Congo, quality not as good as in Europe. Stabilizer bar bushings replaced annually.

Problem: Corrosion

Spacious, very compact, and even quite cozy. However, very poor paint and interior quality. The plastics are the worst I've seen in a car (poor aging). Everything eventually breaks! The mechanics are average. But the engine is frankly light and too "sporty" for the car.
