Ford Mondeo I 1.8 16V (115 Hp) Sedan 210,000 km

Issue: Fuel Pump

Problem: Fuel pump and rear wheel bearings.

Pros: Good highway cruiser
Cons: Small fuel tank, Fuel pump and rear wheel bearings

Ford Mondeo I 1.8 16V (115 Hp) Sedan 127,000 km

Clutch Problem

Reliable. Silence of the gasoline engine, good fuel consumption/vehicle size. Good storage volume. Spacious interior for passengers, routine maintenance can still be done without needing a diagnostic tool like on "modern" cars. Engine power is suffocated by the car's weight, lacks a turbo. Clutch at 127,000 KMS, weak wheel bearings, fragile bumper paint.

Pros: Reliable, Quiet gasoline engine, good fuel economy/size ratio, Storage volume, Spacious interior, easy routine maintenance
Cons: Engine power is weak due to car's weight, needs a turbo., Clutch at 127,000 KMS, weak wheel bearings, fragile bumper paint.

Ford Mondeo I 1.8 16V (115 Hp) Sedan 140,000 km

Problem: Interior Noises

For a car known for its quiet cabin and comfortable ride, the unexpected interior noises are a significant drawback. Despite excellent handling, reliability, and spaciousness, these persistent rattles detract from the overall driving experience.

Pros: Handling, Reliability, No interior squeaks/rattles, Comfort, Gigantic interior space, Trunk space, Fuel consumption for its size
Cons: Size in the city, Engine a bit strained when loaded in mountains

Ford Mondeo I 1.8 16V (115 Hp) Sedan 150,000 km

Problem: Air Conditioning

I acquired my Ford Mondeo with 47,000 kilometers, it now has 153,000 and everything is fine. It's a car rather in the upper average in terms of reliability. It's very spacious, practical with its tailgate, the trunk is very large. The interior is classic but doesn't age, the seats the same, still comfortable. The suspension is firm, I appreciate it, others perhaps less. The car's style is classic so it ages better than more extravagant models.

Pros: Acquired with 47k km, now 153k km, still going well., Upper average reliability., Very spacious and practical with tailgate., Large trunk., Interior and seats are classic, comfortable, and age well., Firm suspension (appreciated by reviewer).
Cons: Rear wheel bearing replacement requires entire hub, increasing cost., Slightly high city fuel consumption (around 10 liters)., Cost of parts., Ignition coil., Right rear wheel bearing.
