Transit VII: Uncomfortable and Unreliable

The vehicle is very uncomfortable. Frequent electrical issues and a battery that drains itself. Fuel consumption is huge. The rear seats are very uncomfortable for long journeys. I do not recommend it as a work van.

Transit VIII

The 1.5 diesel 120km Connect meets my expectations visually and economically. The only downside is a noisy gearbox or metallic clutch knocking from 5,000 km. Service in Lublin and Rzeszow claims it's a design flaw and that's how you have to drive. I've been to the service center 4 times, and each time it's the same story: it's supposed to be like that, and any repair would be at my expense, just holding out until the end of the warranty.

Pros: Meets visual expectations, Economical
Cons: Noisy gearbox/clutch from 5,000 km, Service denies design flaw, refuses repair, Potential repair costs at owner's expense

Transit VIII

I bought two Transits, and at 65-70k km (40k-43k miles) both started having AdBlue problems and constant service issues (paid even though under warranty). In the last 10,000 km (6,200 miles) - 5 visits to the service center. In one, the windshield cracked twice. The person who replaced it told me, 'There are design flaws with this model.'

Pros: Spacious cargo area, Comfortable ride for a van
Cons: Recurring AdBlue system faults, High service costs, even under warranty, Prone to windshield cracking, likely due to design flaws

Ford Transit VII Review

I'm adding a review because it was hard to find information about Fords when choosing a vehicle. Ducatos dominate the roads, Transits are few, and I wondered why, given the similar price, and even higher Ford price. The Ford caught my attention because it's different. Personally, I like it, and I found opinions that the interior is okay. To the point... I've fallen in love with this car. It's very comfortable. The steering wheel is neat, like in Ford passenger cars. Cruise control is a marvel. Overall, long drives are very comfortable, and I eagerly...

Pros: Comfortable ride, Stylish interior, Excellent cruise control, Unique design
Cons: Less common on the road

Ford Transit VII

Unfortunately, I find the car to be worse than its predecessor. I'm a fan of Transits for utility vehicles, so I eagerly awaited this moment behind the wheel. Well, as it turned out, I was very disappointed. The engine runs a bit strangely when cold. It's better when warmed up. The car makes a terrible 'humming' noise at low RPMs, which wasn't present in the previous model. When I press the accelerator pedal, the engine revs up on its own, begging the question of why? Fuel consumption increases rapidly.

Pros: Potential for utility
Cons: Worse than predecessor, Engine noise when cold, Low RPM humming, Unexplained self-revving, High fuel consumption
