Hyundai i10 I 1.1 (67 Hp) Hatchback 43,120 km

Problem: Clutch

Clutch failed at 35,000 km. Engine oil found on clutch disc. No coverage because the clutch is a wear item. Okay, but at 35,000 km, it's not a wear item (proof: the crankshaft oil seal failed, and THAT is not a wear item!!!)

Pros: Agile, compact, yet spacious cabin. Ideal for city driving.
Cons: Shocks are a bit stiff. Excessive fuel consumption., Clutch failed at 35,000 km. Engine oil on clutch disc.

Hyundai i10 I 1.1 (67 Hp) Hatchback Mileage unknown

Problem: Gearbox

Ease of parking, lower price, reasonable maintenance... decent trunk space. The main issue is the gear ratios being too close between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears. No major problems reported over 8,500 km.

Pros: Easy to park, Lower cost, Maintenance not excessive, Decent trunk space
Cons: Gears too close (1st, 2nd, 3rd), No issues over 8,500 km

Hyundai i10 I 1.1 (67 Hp) Hatchback 29,500 km

Problem: Suspension

Functional, very well finished, very quiet and comfortable, well-equipped, inexpensive to buy and maintain so far, small in size but spacious enough inside. Largely powerful enough for city use, so easy and pleasant to drive (comfort and high driving position) that we no longer use our Galaxy except for holidays. Expecting lower fuel consumption, very stiff suspension, but I knew this and have to drive accordingly.

Pros: Functional, Very well finished, Very quiet and comfortable, Well-equipped, Inexpensive to buy, Inexpensive to maintain so far, Small exterior, spacious interior, Adequate performance for city use, Easy and pleasant to drive, Comfortable and high driving position
Cons: Expected lower fuel consumption, Very stiff suspension (known issue), Requires driving accordingly

Hyundai i10 I 1.1 (67 Hp) Hatchback 24,000 km

Problem: ABS

Mini city car looks, yet surprisingly spacious! Well finished and assembled for its class. Good ergonomics and visibility. Good power-to-weight ratio (too bad the seats aren't lowerable to give the illusion of driving a sports car!). Inexpensive to maintain, reliable though it seems vulnerable. Bumpy suspension! Mediocre braking (although lacking ABS, I admit). Accelerator pedal not very fluid. In short, an urban-biased car! (It doesn't even perform well on national roads...)

Pros: Mini city car appearance, Surprisingly spacious for a city car, Well-finished and assembled for its class, Good ergonomics and visibility, Good power-to-weight ratio, Inexpensive to maintain, Reliable despite seeming vulnerable
Cons: Bumpy suspension, Mediocre braking (lacks ABS), Stiff accelerator pedal, Urban focused

Hyundai i10 I 1.1 (67 Hp) Hatchback 400,000 km

AC Problem

The air conditioning system repeatedly becomes clogged, rendering it ineffective. Poor braking, fragile air vents, and a varnish that doesn't withstand repeated high-pressure washing are also drawbacks.

Pros: Very maneuverable in the city, Good build quality for its segment, Visibility, Engine sound (for a 1.1L), Gearbox ratios
Cons: Mediocre braking, Fragile ventilation vents, Varnish doesn't withstand repeated HP washing, Fake chrome grille varnish peels off, Repeated AC filter clogging makes it ineffective
