Tucson III Review
I drive the 4X4 and automatic transmission version. The car is very agile for its size. In sport mode, it really picks up speed quickly on "4 paws." During my ownership, I haven't had major issues with this model. The car is well-equipped, has a nicely designed line, and is reliable. Apart from changing filters and oil, and brake discs and pads, it causes no problems. The only repair I had during this period was a leak from the automatic transmission at 75,000 km.
Pros:
Agile for its size, Good performance in sport mode, Well-equipped, Nice design, Reliable
Cons:
Transmission leak at 75,000 km

Tucson III Review
This is my first Hyundai, and certainly not my last. I have the version with an automatic transmission and 4x4 drive. The car looks very nice. Its styling ages very slowly. The car has good acceleration despite its size. The automatic gearbox shifts very smoothly and practically imperceptibly. The chain-driven engine will last a long time if oil changes and flushes are used. Around 150,000 km, the engine takes a small amount of oil (approx. 0.5L) between 10,000 km oil changes.
Pros:
Attractive exterior design, Smooth and seamless automatic transmission, Good acceleration for its size, Durable chain-driven engine
Cons:
Slight oil consumption around 150,000 km

Tucson III
The 2.0 engine model is durable and reliable. Driven over 540k km and still runs like a charm - it's never let me down. Most kilometers (around 80-90%) were on the highway - reliable engine. The engine has decent power and is suitable for both city driving and longer trips. (Remember not to clog the DPF in the city). The Hyundai Tucson's suspension handles road imperfections well, making travel comfortable. Even in the standard version, the model...
Pros:
Durable and reliable 2.0 engine, Excellent for long distances, also good for city, Comfortable suspension handling road bumps
Cons:
Risk of DPF clogging in city driving

Problem: Gearbox
Apart from the gearbox not responding twice a year ago at startup (no reappearance since), there have been no major issues. The sport mode offers no benefit at all, the car...
Pros:
Comfort, Fuel economy (7.5 l), Smooth driving, Rear space, Rear seats folded space, Quiet operation, Sense of security, Good engine access, Precise reversing camera
Cons:
Not very responsive, Best gears are third and fourth, Fifth gear is useless, Limited torque, Expensive spare parts (a rear light = 800 euros), Sport mode is useless, the car...

Brake Caliper Issue
Fuel-efficient for its size (1500kg)... 6.6 l/100 km (I calculate every fill-up since day one). Great comfort, quiet, stable on the road (I always drive in eco mode, so no crazy speeds). Very spacious (over 1.90m with rear seats folded). Easy engine access (plenty of room). No mechanical problems to date. Sturdy bodywork (the hood shows its weight). Reassuring, calming (my wife falls asleep in the passenger seat, feeling like she's in a Pullman). Powerful brakes.
Pros:
Economical for its mass (1500kg)... 6.6 l/100 km (I calculate all my fill-ups from the start)., Great comfort, quiet, stable on its feet (I drive in eco mode constantly, so no madness),, Very spacious (over 1.90m, rear seats folded), Easy engine access (there's room), No mechanical issues to date, Solid bodywork (the front hood tells its weight), Reassuring, soothing (my wife falls asleep in the passenger seat, feeling like she's in a Pullman), Powerful brakes
Cons:
May lack torque, doesn't tear up the tarmac, but then again, it's not made for that! The gear ratios aren't ideal, I often shift directly from 4th to 6th., So far, fingers crossed... nothing.
