Carnival I: A Spacious American Van with Flawed Mechanics
Massive, safe, and super comfortable for a family of six, this American van (not a minivan) is indispensable for long trips. Well-finished and completely botched mechanically and in terms of bodywork. It has a makeshift diesel engine and brakes from a 'C' class car. I don't know how they managed to ruin the KIA SEDONA so badly when adapting it for European tastes...
Pros:
Huge interior space, Excellent safety features, Supreme comfort for long journeys, Impressive build quality (interior finish)
Cons:
Poorly executed mechanical components, Substandard bodywork quality, Aftermarket diesel engine issues, Inadequate braking system (from a smaller car class)

Carnival - A Great Ride for Years
I've been driving the Carnival for 3 years. The car is GREAT. Apart from minor, routine maintenance (CV joint boots, brake pads, etc.), nothing has gone wrong. It's very comfortable to drive, and everyone has their own space. This car offers great driving comfort for a small price.
Pros:
Excellent comfort for all passengers, Great value for money, Reliable with minimal issues
Cons:
Occasional minor maintenance needed

Carnival i: A Surprisingly Pleasant Ride
After reading some reviews of the Carnival, I'm surprised it's so trashed. I've driven various cars, including newer models from well-known brands daily. This is one of the most enjoyable cars I've had the pleasure to own – great flexibility, exemplary space, unique finish, full equipment – AC, 2 airbags, electric windows and mirrors, electrically adjustable and heated seats. It's one of the largest vans on the market. I rate it
Pros:
Great flexibility, Exemplary space, Unique finish, Full equipment (AC, airbags, power windows/mirrors, heated seats), One of the largest vans on the market

This is a simple car. You just need a good mechanic, and everything will be fine. I don't recommend Kia dealerships. Reading other posts, I wonder if people who write badly about this car actually had anything to do with it, or maybe they are VW or Mercedes owners who paid much more for their cars, and they still break down, with incomparably more expensive parts. As for dealerships, I generally don't recommend them unless the car is under warranty, as you have no other choice. I work in...
Pros:
Simple to maintain with a good mechanic, Potentially cheaper than premium brands
Cons:
Not recommended to use official Kia service, Potential for issues if not properly maintained

A comfortable car, average fuel consumption around 8l. It's quite noisy inside. Acceleration is meager. On turns, it tended to float on 15-inch rims with high-profile tires. I installed larger 18-inch alloy wheels with new 265/45/18 tires, and it handles incomparably better. It also looks better on wider tires. The car has no acceleration whatsoever, and it's not suitable for fast driving. The gearbox is imprecise; you have to get used to it. It definitely lacks something.
Pros:
Comfortable ride, Acceptable fuel consumption
Cons:
Noisy cabin, Poor acceleration, Unstable handling on curves (stock wheels), Imprecise gearbox
