Sportage III: A Solid and Reliable SUV

Reading some of the reviews here makes me laugh. I've had this car for over 9 years, and it's one of my most successful purchases. I've never had problems with it if you take care of it and change the oil on time; the car will repay you with reliability. I haven't had any major breakdowns, just the usual replacement of the dual-mass flywheel and clutch due to high mileage. The car is quiet, well-made, dynamic, and spacious. If someone complains about the trunk, I apologize, but these are SUVs; they never have...

Pros: Reliable and durable with proper maintenance, Quiet and well-built interior, Dynamic performance, Spacious cabin
Cons: Dual-mass flywheel and clutch replacement needed with high mileage

Sportage III

Bought used, from a Polish dealership, with full service history and a low mileage of 96,000 km for its age. Overall, after nearly three years of ownership and 45,000 km driven, I am very satisfied with this car. Even though the third generation's prime is likely behind it, the car still appeals to me and, with proper care, can still perform reliably. Very simple construction, excellent access to all components...

Pros: Good value for money, Reliable with proper care, Easy access to components
Cons: Aging design

DPF / FAP Issue

Spacious for the price, though the finish is very average. The engine is clearly undersized for this car's size. Suitable for city driving, but on the highway, it's a slug. Many problems with the injection system, engine, catalytic converter, and DPF.

Pros: Spacious for a fair price, though the finish is very average.
Cons: Engine clearly undersized for this car size., Suitable for the city, but on the highway, it's a slug..., Many problems with the injection system, engine, catalytic converter and DPF., Catalytic converter, DPF, Injection pump, Lambda probes, O2 sensor

Problem: Battery

Beautiful looks even today. Practical ride height and a small camera in the interior mirror is very handy. It's practical for parking because it's quite short. It's spacious inside. Its damping is comfortable for smoothing out road defects.

Pros: Beautiful look for today., Practical ride height and interior mirror camera., Easy to park due to short length., Spacious interior.
Cons: Intermittent wiper is slow; only works in heavy rain despite frequency settings., Cruise control is unresponsive; only activates under specific conditions.
