E-Class W212: A Great Car

A great car. Lots of space inside, a huge trunk, almost 700 liters. Comfortable for long trips and very fast. I bought the car from 2010 with 200,000 km. It's known that with such mileage and age, something may always require replacement or repair. Currently, after 1.5 years of ownership, I've driven 25,000 kilometers and here are the costs incurred. After purchase: complete timing belt kit with labor - 5,500 PLN, oil change in the engine, gearbox, rear axle, inspection and recharge...

E-Class W212: Smooth Operator, Not a Sports Car

Bought with 140k km. After driving almost 40k, I can confidently recommend this car. When it comes to driving comfort, there's nothing to complain about; it's soft and pleasant. If you're looking for a car that delivers a sporty thrill, I advise against it. I thought 270hp would be enough for this weight, but you can feel something is missing. It's not that the car doesn't go, but with this gearbox and lack of turbo, there's a sense of dissatisfaction. It's a large, comfortable car that can accelerate, but it won't surprise you.

Cons: Lacks sporty performance, Gearbox could be more responsive, Not as powerful as expected for its size
