Peugeot 206CC Review
The car is appealing despite its perceived feminine design, which I've come to accept. Many people criticize French cars, but I doubted this and, after a thorough check at a Peugeot service center, I bought a silver convertible. Considering the time and cost, it was a big mistake. Initially, some suspension bushings, oils, and timing belt cost around 800 PLN. That's a standard starting set. After half a year of use, additionally, rear axle regeneration cost 1700 PLN, front wishbone replacement was 700 PLN, and there were idling issues.
Pros:
Attractive design, even if perceived as feminine
Cons:
High repair costs (suspension, rear axle, wishbones), Costly starting maintenance, Idling issues

206 Hatchback
The latest of the 'old' diesels in a decent body, what more could you want from this class? Compared to similar cars, the 206 fares very well in terms of economy and reliability. The biggest diesel woes (dual-mass flywheel, turbo, injectors) don't exist in this unit (dual-mass flywheel, turbo with fixed blade geometry) or are simple enough to minimize service costs (Bosch injectors). In my version (with automatic air conditioning), comfort is at a sufficient level. On the downside, poor...
Pros:
Excellent fuel economy, High reliability, Simple and robust diesel engine, Comfortable (with auto AC)

206 Cabrio
The car performs very well. It starts instantly in both -30°C and +35°C weather. My example is very richly equipped, everything always works, and it hasn't caused me any problems. The most expensive workshop visit was for a clutch replacement. Other issues, like dirty halogen cable contacts, creased floor carpeting, etc., are clear examples of neglect by previous owners. Furthermore, it turned out someone drove this car with tap water in the radiator, so the system was quite dirty. Despite this,
Pros:
Reliable starting in extreme temperatures, Richly equipped model with functional features, Generally dependable, with minor issues attributed to previous owners
Cons:
Clutch replacement was costly, Evidence of poor maintenance by prior owners (dirty contacts, poor carpet fit), Radiator damage from using tap water

206 Hatchback Review
A pretty good car for now, drives well and is reasonably comfortable. It's also fuel-efficient and reliable (Dutch model). The looks are good, even great, and it's rust-resistant. So far, no operational issues, only what I had to replace upon receiving it (nothing tragic, around 1500 PLN spent). Once, the exhaust nearly fell off, but that wasn't the car's fault, rather the 'experts' who fixed it previously. I've had it for about six months and I'm satisfied; the interior looks are also good.
Pros:
Drives well, Comfortable, Fuel-efficient, Reliable, Rust-resistant design, Satisfying interior aesthetics
Cons:
Minor initial repairs required after purchase, Exhaust issue (attributed to previous repair work)

206 Cabrio: A 3-Year Review
After over 3 years of driving, I can honestly review it, especially since I'm soon changing to a 301 model. A visually pleasing car. Nice upholstery (I have the black and red leather version). The model is resistant to corrosion, the engine is OK, runs smoothly. Overall, the car is quite affordable to maintain, plus cheap spare parts. Fuel consumption is also acceptable, usually around 6.5-7 liters. On the Gdańsk-Katowice route, I managed to get down to the 'legendary' 5.2 liters. Essentially, the only drawback is
Pros:
Visually pleasing design, Attractive upholstery options, Corrosion resistant, Smooth running engine, Affordable maintenance, Inexpensive spare parts, Acceptable fuel consumption
Cons:
The only drawback is...

Bought for 800 zł for city driving, I thought if it broke, I wouldn't lose much as it was scrap price. Nothing could be further from the truth. I replaced the oil, timing belt, and air filter, and the car runs perfectly in all conditions. The bodywork is poor, but because it's so grateful, I'll work on it :) It always starts, the engine doesn't consume oil, it runs quietly, the A/C cools, the electrics work, it's really comfortable, agile, and doesn't use much fuel. What more could you want? Plus, I have a cool
Pros:
Always starts, Quiet engine, no oil consumption, Working A/C and electrics, Comfortable and agile, Fuel efficient
Cons:
Poor bodywork

206 Hatchback Review
A car definitely for two people (as it was used), with a nice kick (it's definitely worth ensuring good suspension condition, 90 HP with such a small car weight makes itself known on the road). There is extremely little space in the back, although when the seats are folded, the trunk space is large enough for some home appliances to fit easily. It's not a race car, but the body's aerodynamics + the mentioned low weight + the zippy engine give quite a nice effect. Furthermore, the engine...
Pros:
Good for two people, Zippy engine with surprising acceleration, Surprisingly large trunk when seats are folded, Sporty feel due to weight and power
Cons:
Extremely limited rear passenger space, Requires good suspension maintenance

Peugeot 206 Hatchback: A Long-Term Companion
I've owned this car for 15 years, bought at 2 years old with 25,000 km. In all that time, only a few things broke: the clutch, one injector, and the V-belt. I don't remember anything else. Recently, at over 140,000 km, the rear axle started making noise, but it's been repaired. This year I decided to replace the multifunction stalk because on hot days, turning on the right turn signal would activate the high beams. That's all the issues.
Pros:
Exceptional reliability over 15 years, Minimal breakdowns with reasonable repairs
Cons:
Common rear axle issue develops with age, Mischievous electrical gremlin with turn signal

I'll say this: It's a car with a very nice silhouette – the French definitely know design. The car is ideal for city driving, but on the road, it's a bit worse. Sitting is very comfortable, handling is okay. Unfortunately, the electrics like to play tricks, so you have to get used to that in the initial phase of use. It's not a car without flaws, but if you take proper care of everything, it can reward you with hassle-free driving. The suspension is soft, the engine sounds a bit like a lawnmower.
Pros:
Attractive design and silhouette, Excellent for city driving, Comfortable seating, Good handling, Rewarding hassle-free driving with proper care
Cons:
Less suitable for long-distance road trips, Electrical issues can be problematic, Soft suspension, Engine noise is compared to a lawnmower
