306 i: A Charming Little Car

A pretty neat and likeable car. Small and agile. For its age, it still looks quite good. Comfortable for its class, simple construction, though a bit over-engineered in places. If you find a well-maintained example and take care of it yourself, it will repay you. Unfortunately, less cared-for ones will require extra investment. Be careful with the rear axle beam, as repairs are costly. For a car costing 2,000, buying a new one or refurbishing it for around 900 isn't very cost-effective. This is its upper limit, but you have to consider it.

Pros: Small and agile, Comfortable for its class, Presentable for its age
Cons: Rear axle beam repairs are expensive, Some areas feel over-engineered, May require investment if not well-maintained

Peugeot 306 (1.4) Review

I have the 3D version. Looks great (red), and despite 20 years on its body, when I wash it, people on the street still turn their heads. The interior is surprisingly spacious. The seats are comfortable (like factory bucket seats?). You get what you put into it, and my cars have a good life. Some say French cars are rubbish and German ones are wonders, but just look at the roads – how many of those 'super' Golfs and Passats from that era are still around compared to 306s? I had a friend who was so fond of...

Pros: Great exterior styling (especially in red), Surprisingly spacious interior, Comfortable seats, Durability compared to some German counterparts

Peugeot 306: A Reliable Workhorse

A car that never let me down. Imported from Germany with a 1.1 engine. Effortlessly reached 160 km/h with a trailer on the highway. It always started, even in extreme frost, unlike older Hondas, Toyotas, and even friends' Mercedes. Very durable, with extremely flexible suspension. After 20 years, the paint started to peel, but that was due to poor repainting after a minor accident. If I were to recommend a cheap, old car that still works...

Pros: Exceptional reliability in all weather conditions., Powerful for its engine size, handles well with a trailer., Durable with a very flexible suspension.
Cons: Paint issues after 20 years due to accident repairs.
