Problem: Gearbox

The automatic gearbox is noisy when shifting from 3rd to 2nd gear, and from 2nd to 1st gear. Otherwise, it's a good family car, pleasant to drive. No major issues.

Problem: Interior Noises

I have a loud rattling noise in my 3008. After an inspection at my Peugeot garage in Caen, they told me it's the timing chain that needs repair, costing €940. I chose this model precisely because it didn't have a belt and the timing chain was supposed to last a lifetime. But not on my Peugeot 3008, which only has 105,000 km. Is it a manufacturing defect?

Comfort, road holding, this car sticks to the road, interior layout, ergonomics, driver's visual appeal, elbow room (I'm 1.84m tall), access height, apart from the tiny glove box where nothing fits, but compensated by the huge storage under the armrest, I find no fault with this car in everyday use. The equipment is, as standard, very complete. The trunk is very large, you can load everything in there and
