Kangoo II

This is my second Kangoo. Previously, I had the first generation with a 1.4 petrol engine. It was a bit smaller inside and out. Crucially, it was much lighter. Therefore, despite only 75 HP, it was significantly more agile in the city than the current one. My current Kangoo, however, performs much better on the road. The 105 HP is sufficient for fast highway driving and overtaking. Above 3,000 RPM, one might even say it's dynamic. However, this comes at the cost of significant fuel consumption. Both in the city,

Pros: Good for highway driving, Sufficient power for overtaking, Dynamic above 3,000 RPM
Cons: Less agile in the city than the previous model, Significantly higher fuel consumption

Kangoo II

Surprisingly comfortable for a passenger version of a van. It's essentially a deep facelift of the second-generation Scenic. The high driving position improves visibility and eliminates glare from oncoming cars. High-mounted headlights provide good dipped beam range. Large windows and huge side mirrors offer excellent all-around visibility. Spacious and wide interior for a car just 4.2 meters long. A gasoline engine, which for Renault, is the basis for trouble-free and long-term operation.

Pros: Surprisingly comfortable for a van-based passenger car, High driving position with excellent visibility, Good dipped beam range from headlights, Spacious interior in a compact length, Reliable Renault gasoline engine
Cons: Still feels like a van at its core

Kangoo II Review

A very versatile car, it can handle light off-roading, is excellent for city driving, and less so for longer trips. At higher speeds, it's noisy and lacks dynamism; a 6th gear is sorely missed. However, the petrol version is designed as a city car. It's spacious enough for work and I also use it as a family car. There was a period around 250,000 km where it frequently needed a mechanic, but after a few repairs, it ran smoothly for another 40,000 km.

Pros: Very versatile, Good for city driving, Spacious
Cons: Noisy at higher speeds, Lacks dynamism at speed, Missing a 6th gear, Less suitable for long trips
