To start, I'll say this: maybe the previous owner didn't take care of it, or I got a bad unit, but overall it's one of the worst cars I've driven. Over a year of ownership, I dealt with serious problems with the gearbox and the air conditioning. I also had minor issues with electronics, brakes, and the catalytic converter, but they didn't really affect the overall rating. The engine was generally in good condition throughout its use, but the 1.6 100HP in combination with the car's size is a mistake.

Most interesting car from those years. I believe Renault improved a lot back then, but the era of engine downsizing came, and this model (and its engines) had to go. I have the 1.9 dCi 130hp FAP version. I've owned it for 2-3 years, doing a lot of long drives, about 60,000 km since purchase. A car worth recommending. My best car so far. Contrary to popular opinion about the Renault brand, I can say this model is reliable. The GT version stands out with its rich equipment. In this 2012 car, we have many conveniences (built-in hands-free kit, keyless entry system, dual-zone climate control, in-display navigation, all essential safety systems, and many more). I've driven my Megane 100,000 km, all on LPG. The gas system was well-matched to the car's power.

I've owned this car for over a year and I can say it's a really successful model. It serves me for my 60 km daily commute and for longer trips. In a year, I’ve driven over 30,000 km and it was immobilized only once due to a faulty electric parking brake, the repair of which was inexpensive.
