Megane IV: Solid All-rounder with Minor Electronic Quirks

Purchased new from the dealership during a year-end sale. A good car, with minor shortcomings primarily related to electronics, such as the required safety systems (always switchable with one button :)), which are nonetheless sporadic and don't hinder daily use. Definitely a plus on price vs. quality. The interior finish is quite solid, as is the soundproofing and ride comfort. Good audio for a car in this class. The engine is sufficiently zippy, 4-cylinder, so...

Megane IV

Overall, I'd give it a 5 because this car is definitely underrated. It looks great, has a decent 4-cylinder engine with high torque and reasonable fuel consumption. The engine is essentially free of serious flaws. The interior is very pleasant (typical French), and it's quiet (!). Drives nicely and is reasonably priced. I have only two downsides: the suspension is too noisy, and there's a strange throttle response – as someone else wrote, it's a bit oversensitive, you have to learn to adjust or get used to it. If not for that...
