No interior door handles or console. Outdated and uninteresting vehicle. High fuel consumption, sluggish engine. Susceptible to wind.
Issues with wheel bearings. Otherwise, a smooth, comfortable, and quiet ride. Good equipment level with GPS, TFT screen, parking sensors, and a full-size spare tire. Excellent road holding and braking. Drives like a good sedan but with the practicality of a compact MPV, easy to maneuver and park. Low fuel consumption: 7.5 L/100 km on SP95, 8.5 L/100 km on E85. High-quality finish, built to last with minimal care.
Comfort, handling for an MPV, short 6-speed gearbox, elastic and very flexible engine even at low revs (this is linked to E85 with a higher octane rating than petrol, which improves torque). A bit noisy during high revs (due to the short gearbox) but you can't have everything!
Good car, 3rd Scenic. First one new, injection problems, injector leaks. Second one, dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree - known issue for Renault and media, but they wouldn't cover it! Now on the 3rd, never at peace, already 2 garage visits for the electronic parking brake key. 1st time cleared faults for €50. 2nd time reprogrammed for €90. 3rd visit in a few days, even though the brake works correctly with the key. Maybe the issue is with the known Renault computer.
