Great little car, reliable, cheap, low fuel consumption. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Pros: Very cool car, Reliable, Inexpensive, Low fuel consumption

Favorite Hatchback

For me, it's nostalgia. I drive wherever I want. The record fuel consumption is 465 km on 32 liters of gas. It doesn't burn much petrol either. Simple as a flail, cheap parts. I love this car, even though it has many flaws. But after all, they were designed in 1983, so it's not bad. I highly recommend it if you need a cheap, simple car.

Pros: Excellent fuel economy (gas), Low fuel consumption (petrol), Simple design, Affordable parts, Great value for money, Reliable for its age
Cons: Dated design (1983), Numerous flaws inherent to its age, Not a modern vehicle

Great car for little money. You just need to take care of it and replace parts on time. The engine is reasonably dynamic, but if you drive more dynamically, it consumes more fuel. If you drive calmly, then fuel consumption is low - around town it doesn't exceed 7 liters.

Pros: Great value for money, Reasonably dynamic engine
Cons: Higher fuel consumption during dynamic driving, Requires regular maintenance

Favorite Hatchback

Purchased a year ago, it was in a rather uninspiring condition. I gradually repaired everything that bothered me, and in its current state, I have absolutely no complaints. All the faults were present when I bought the car, and nothing new has appeared. The previous owner's negligence (treating it as a car just for sale) is evident.

Pros: No new issues have arisen, All original faults addressed
Cons: Initial condition was poor, Evidence of previous owner's neglect

Favorite Hatchback

Overall, it's mediocre. It's neither safe nor economical, and you can forget about its performance. However, it is quite comfortable, "provided you have an unbroken seat." The trunk can fit my 12-year-old sister (it was hide-and-seek, don't think I'm a psycho). So, groceries will fit too, but not large ones.

Pros: Quite comfortable (with intact seats), Decent trunk space
Cons: Not safe, Not economical, Poor performance, Unreliable seat condition

Favorit Hatchback: A Great First Car

The Skoda Favorit is an excellent car for those starting their automotive journey. Its purchase price is comparable to a 'Maluch' (Fiat 126p) and ranges from 1000-2000 PLN. For 2000 PLN, you can easily find one in good condition with an LPG system, requiring no immediate financial investment. Compared to a 'Maluch', the Skoda is a full-sized car on which you can learn to drive and park. If you happen to get into a minor accident, spare parts are readily available.

Pros: Affordable purchase price, similar to 'Maluch', Available with LPG system, Full-sized car, good for learning, Easy to find spare parts
Cons: Older car, may require some maintenance, Basic features

Favorit Hatchback: A Reliable Workhorse

My father bought this Skoda in former Czechoslovakia. It has driven a lot and transported a lot. There were no major repairs, except for the timing chain replacement and normal wear and tear. The only drawback is weak body panels, requiring more attention to cleanliness to prevent it from looking like a wreck. Skoda engines are reliable! A dream nowadays (back then, the brand used to produce sedans). Just fill it up and drive. As for

Pros: Reliable engines, Durable powertrain, Good for hauling
Cons: Prone to rust, Requires diligent cleaning

Favorite Hatchback

With a low purchase price and ridiculously cheap spare parts, this is a truly decent car for undemanding individuals. For its class, it's quite comfortable, economical, and reliable – provided, of course, that we take proper care of it. Therefore, when buying, it's worth waiting and looking for a well-maintained example, and be sure to inspect it thoroughly (especially the undercarriage, floor under the mats, rear axle beam, and the rest of the suspension). However, the quality of the upholstery can be annoying.

Pros: Low purchase price, Cheap spare parts, Comfortable for its class, Economical, Reliable (with proper care)
Cons: Upholstery quality can be frustrating, Requires thorough inspection before purchase

Favorite Hatchback

My first own car. Previously, I shared a Polonez with a friend, but this one was entirely mine on paper. It was a lot of work, a lot of joy, and a lot of sadness when it was towed away after I crashed it into some jerk who cut me off at a red light – I simply couldn't brake in time. I cried like a child; there will never be another car like it. It only let me down once. It took me from Kielce to Radom and back, and then from Kielce to Lublin and back with a [broken down/damaged]...

Pros: First car ownership, Memorable ownership experience
Cons: Expensive repairs/maintenance, Accident resulting in write-off
