Škoda Felicia: A Reliable and Affordable Companion

I bought this Škoda with 84,000 km, currently it has 97,000. The car is very cheap to maintain and always gets me where I need to go. Parts are ridiculously inexpensive, breakdowns are rare, and repairs are simple. A very grateful and affordable car with a simple design.

Pros: Very cheap to maintain, Reliable transportation, Inexpensive parts, Simple repairs, Straightforward design
Cons: None mentioned

Felicia I: A Solid First Car

I used this car for about 6 years and it was my first car. From a time perspective, I can say its interior was much better made than many modern city cars. Fabric on the door panels and a spacious interior. Quite a large trunk for its size.

Pros: Well-made interior for its class, Spacious cabin, Generous trunk size

Skoda Felicia: 8 Years and 80,000 KM Later

I've been driving this car for 8 years, covering about 80,000 km (my Felicia is now 19 years old). Over all these years, I haven't spent more than 1,000 PLN on repairs in total (including parts costs). The Felicia's engine has been lubricated with synthetic oil from the very beginning. Oil is changed systematically every 15,000 km. I never had to add even a gram of oil. At each oil change, the oil level indicator always showed the normal range. Only after eight years of operating the Skoda did I replace the brake lines.

Pros: Incredibly reliable and affordable to maintain, Very low running costs, Engine runs smoothly on synthetic oil
Cons: Brake lines required replacement after 8 years

Skoda Felicia: My First Car Experience

This was my first car. I had a version with LPG. It was incredibly cheap to run. It wasn't a speed demon; it took a while to reach 100 km/h :D. The lack of power steering in the city was the most annoying part, otherwise it would have been quite okay. However, minor wear and tear, which kept increasing, were the biggest drawbacks. Not to mention the rust, which was everywhere (sills, tailgate, hood, floor were all deteriorating).

Pros: Very economical to run with LPG
Cons: Slow acceleration, No power steering, Constant minor issues, Extensive rust
