Skoda Kodiaq: Spacious and Affordable Family SUV

I've been using this car for 1.5 years as a 7-seater minivan/SUV. Currently, in the EU, if you want a 7+ seater, Dacia is an option, and Skoda is likely second in line price-wise. In terms of practicality, it's hard to find competition. I have the base version with some sensor and camera package... and I added the third row of seats. It basically has everything you need (analog gauges, a computer inside - it could show more info at once).

Pros: Excellent practicality and space for its price., Good value compared to other 7-seaters., Sufficient features for everyday use.
Cons: Onboard computer could display more information simultaneously., Limited options for a 7+ seater in the current market besides Dacia.

Skoda Kodiaq i: Spacious, Economical Family SUV

Excellent car, spacious and economical. Purchased with 53k km, now at 70k km, used daily for city driving and on weekends/holidays for trips. Primarily for one person commuting about 50km round trip for work and errands. For holidays, it carries 2 people, 2 dogs, and 2 bikes on a tow hitch rack. Not a speed demon, but easily reaches 150 km/h when loaded, though not as quickly as some rivals.

Pros: Spacious interior, Economical fuel consumption, Good for family trips with pets and bikes
Cons: Not the fastest acceleration, Can be slow to reach top speed when fully loaded

Skoda Kodiaq i: 46,000 km Review

I drove this car for 46,000 km. Style version with sufficient optional equipment. Pretty good engine dynamics for its size, but average fuel consumption was 9.4l/100km. Lots of space, huge trunk, unfortunately interior finishing materials are typical Skoda, you won't find luxury here. The multimedia system sometimes froze, a reset helped. The gearbox could occasionally jerk, but it wasn't troublesome. The start&stop system is irritating, as it turns off the engine too early, e.g.

Pros: Good engine dynamics for its size, Abundant interior space, Enormous trunk capacity
Cons: Average fuel consumption at 9.4l/100km, Interior materials are typical Skoda, not luxury, Multimedia system occasionally froze, Gearbox can jerk sometimes, Irritating start&stop system

Kodiaq i: A Disappointing Two-Year Ownership

Not worth the price, and I regret being persuaded. This is my conclusion after two years of use. There are many positive reviews online, while critical comments are usually pushed to the very bottom. Of course, the car has its advantages, but it delivers very mixed feelings. I had never driven a Skoda before and thought: no need to overdo it, it's VAG, so it will be similar to other cars from this group but without overpaying for the brand. Well, no... this car is tiring. I won't compare it to

Pros: Good space and practicality, Comfortable ride on good roads
Cons: Disappointing driving experience overall, Tiring on longer journeys, Build quality not up to expectations, Infotainment system can be sluggish
