Perhaps first the drawbacks compared to the 1st generation: 1. The brakes are, in my opinion, much weaker. 2. The cameras installed in the car (360) are of worse quality. 3. The phone - this irritates me the most. Practically, phone operation has moved to the side tablet. There's no dial to select contacts from the list. Only voice control using Google Assistant saves it, which, as usual, works almost reliably. 4. A noticeable delay in throttle response. Advantages: 1. No cable needed for Android Auto, and it works.
Pros:
Wireless Android Auto works well
Cons:
Weaker brakes compared to the previous generation, Lower quality 360 cameras, Cumbersome phone integration, lack of physical contact selection dial, Delayed throttle response

Kodiaq II
Previously I had a Tucson 1.7 CRDi. With chiptuning, it had about 150 HP. The Škoda has the same, but its mild-hybrid system with temporary battery boost helps. The car performs well, and the engine has sufficient power. For now, I don't plan to increase the power, although it's possible up to 180 HP and around 320 Nm. I'll see after the holidays and a trip with four people. The car is quiet, economical for its size, and so far, pure joy. A few minor drawbacks, like the overly sensitive radar that intervenes too quickly. But
Pros:
Good performance, Sufficient engine power, Quiet operation, Economical for its size
Cons:
Overly sensitive radar interferes too soon

Kodiaq II: Improved and Well-Equipped
This is my second Kodiaq, the previous one in a similar version (4x4 diesel) was a 7-seater, which I rated 9/10. Now, this one (from 2016 or 2017) I rate around 7/10 compared to new cars. Nothing bad ever happened over the years, everything was okay, but the old one wasn't as well-equipped as this new one. The current one, so far after about 4 months since leaving the showroom, is also positive, and I'm giving it a 9/10 again. The current one is much better equipped than its predecessor; I have almost everything (missing the panoramic roof – because the roller blind is...
Pros:
Significantly better equipped than the predecessor, Reliable and trouble-free over several years
Cons:
Older models rated lower compared to new cars, Missing panoramic roof

Kodiaq II
In terms of positives: Very comfortable and spacious. In the back, you feel like royalty, there's so much room. It looks great. The trunk is spacious, though on the lower level, it can't be laid flat with the seats because the board is poorly designed. The sliding rear bench is good, and the gearbox works well (apart from front/back maneuvering, which is a mess). The engine has power, and the all-wheel drive handles very well (haven't tested off-road). The Matrix LED lights work very nicely. Automatic.
Pros:
Very comfortable and spacious interior, Attractive exterior design, Sliding rear bench, Powerful engine with capable AWD, Effective Matrix LED lights
Cons:
Trunk floor not flat when seats are folded, Poor low-speed transmission shifting

Kodiaq II
Generally a very good car, comfortable seats, driving position, multi-adjustable, plenty of space in the rear and front. Engine acceptably dynamic. Fuel consumption manageable with eco-driving, but a guzzler in the city and on short trips. CONS: - constant electronic glitches - messages appear almost every few days Drivetrain Malfunction - limits revs to 4000 and forces a trip to the service center. Nothing is actually wrong with the car, it resolves after a restart. Front assist not working.
Pros:
Comfortable seats, Spacious interior, Good driving position, Multi-adjustable features
Cons:
Frequent electronic glitches, Drivetrain malfunction errors, Front Assist not working, High fuel consumption in city/short trips

Kodiaq II: A Disappointing Daily Driver
Despite appearances, a very weak car. If you're buying it to tow a large trailer – okay, camping, car trailer, construction trailer – okay. If you want it for daily use, I definitely advise against it. Big, clumsy, sluggish (despite engine torque), unrefined, average car. Gearbox – only seven gears, engine and its settings – a misunderstanding. Idle speed from new is 1050 rpm, the gearbox shudders. Gear change settings – anti-economic. Wiper stalk – rounded – not...
Pros:
Good for towing heavy trailers.
Cons:
Sluggish and unrefined for daily use., Underdeveloped seven-speed gearbox., High idle speed and jerky gear changes., Anti-economic gear shift calibration.
