Superb III
I pondered for a long time what car to replace my current one with (Toyota Avensis t25 kombi FL 2.0). I was looking for a large, comfortable, and ideally a reliable car. With a gasoline engine of around 2000cc and approximately 200 HP, mileage between 50,000-70,000 km, and an automatic transmission. Absolutely a station wagon, because I'm practical. I set a budget of 30,000 euros for the purchase and a model year between 2019 and 2020. My interests included Mazda 6, Mercedes E, Ford Mondeo, VW Passat, Volvo V60/90, Skoda Superb. No
Pros:
Spacious interior, Comfortable ride, Practical wagon design
Cons:
Limited engine options considered

Superb III - Years of Reliable Driving
Supplementing my review after over four years of ownership. In that time, the mileage has increased from 130,000 km to a remarkable 290,000 km. For a seven-year-old car with such high mileage, everything is superb. Japanese or Korean cars typically show wear by this point: worn steering wheels, scratched plastics, creaking seats – I know from previous long-term ownership. The Skoda really impresses with its solidity and aesthetics, and furthermore, with this engine, it offers reliable operation. During this period of use...
Pros:
Exceptional durability and build quality after high mileage, Maintains aesthetic appeal and solid feel, Reliable engine and driving experience

Superb III
A spacious car with ample room for the driver and passenger. Poorly made: the door trims are hard and not durable. To date, I've replaced the driver's window regulator and its front circuit board. The dashboard pocket on the driver's side has fallen apart. Recently, the timing belt with accessories (top-shelf parts) only lasted 70,000 km after a complete coolant pump leak. Map updates are free, but downloading them takes hours.
Pros:
Spacious interior, Ample passenger room
Cons:
Poorly made door trims, Durable seat fabrics not guaranteed, Driver's window regulator failure, Dashboard pocket disintegrated, Short-lived timing belt despite premium parts, Coolant pump leaks, Long map update downloads

Superb III
The car has a great engine (cast iron block), it can be very fuel-efficient (even 6l/100km on gas) and powerful when needed. Currently one of the few units that works perfectly on gas (indirect injection cleans valves, hydraulic lifters, cast iron block, no NOx, one simple catalytic converter, 2 lambda sensors, large LPG tank opening, full filler under the flap, no virtual fuel gauge issues). Gigantic interior space, good equipment (e.g., from 2015, Carplay - probably among the first).
Pros:
Excellent engine performance and fuel efficiency, Spacious interior, Good equipment including Carplay, Reliable gas conversion
Cons:
Virtual fuel gauge can be misleading

This isn't a universal car, despite being considered one. It's worth thinking carefully about what you expect before choosing. The car is undoubtedly suited for highways - it has incredibly low fuel consumption for its weight and power, a soft suspension, a large trunk, and ample space for rear passengers. However, the car is undoubtedly not suited for city driving, and this is its main drawback - its suspension is too soft, and the bulkhead is poorly insulated, making the engine excessively audible.
Pros:
Excellent highway performance, Low fuel consumption, Spacious trunk and rear seats, Comfortable suspension
Cons:
Too soft suspension for city driving, Poorly insulated bulkhead, Excessive engine noise in cabin

Superb III
Spacious, solidly built family car. Not as refined in details as more expensive competitors of this size. In my opinion, it's poorly soundproofed for the class it aspires to. I like the classic console: the multimedia screen integrated into the dashboard (not looking like it was glued on at the last minute), and the classic climate control panel (with knobs and buttons). I dislike the virtual cockpit, although I have no complaints about its operation and displayed information.
Pros:
Spacious and solidly built, Classic, integrated dashboard design, Intuitive climate controls
Cons:
Lacks fine detailing compared to premium rivals, Poor sound insulation for its class

Very Good - Superb III
Excellent car! The trunk is surprisingly spacious, and the handling is superb. However, the noise insulation could be better, and fuel consumption is a bit high. A major issue: the electric seat stopped working after just one month and required warranty repair. The faux leather seat, an optional extra costing €500, is of very poor quality and should be avoided at all costs. I am currently in dispute as the brand refuses to take responsibility.
Pros:
Trunk volume, Handling
Cons:
Noise insulation, Fuel consumption, Electric seat malfunction after 1 month, warranty repair needed., Very poor quality faux leather seat (optional €500 extra), avoid at all costs. Currently in dispute with the brand which refuses to intervene.
