Superb IV: Excellent

I've been using this engine for 3 months, driven 3700 km. I know the car is heavier than the previous version, with many more cameras and sensors, so the fuel consumption is expectedly higher. However, there's no chance of achieving 5.5-5.8 L/100km. I reached 5.8 L during a drive from higher to lower terrain, a 20km route. The return journey immediately jumped to 8 L/10km, averaging around 7 L/100km. On the highway at speeds of about 130-140 km/h, the consumption is 7 L/100km. For me, the computer has shown 7.6 L/100km from the start, and I drive (as my wife calls it) like a retiree.

Pros: Spaciousness and comfort, Modern technology and features
Cons: Higher than expected fuel consumption

Superb: A Remarkable Leap Forward

I've owned two previous Superbs (III gen., L&K and Sportline), all bought new and driven for 3 years, so I have a good comparison to the previous models. My latest Superb is the L&K version and it's better than its predecessors in every way! The suspension doesn't sway like before, it's much better refined, the steering is very good, interior finish quality is a level higher, and the soundproofing is noticeably better too. Only the engine is unchanged, I had to top up oil after 10,000 km, just like before.

Pros: Significantly improved suspension refinement, Excellent steering feel, Higher interior finish quality, Noticeably better soundproofing
Cons: Engine remains unchanged, Oil consumption after 10,000 km

Superb IV: A Flawless Drive

I rate this car very highly. It meets all expectations. It was supposed to be large, comfortable for long journeys, with a huge trunk. It drives very comfortably and is exactly what I expect from a D/E segment car. I have the L&K version, so there's nothing to complain about regarding equipment. For the price, there's probably nothing better on the market. The suspension is very good (I have no issues with noisy DCC). The seats are ultra comfortable - this is the first car where I don't feel tired at all after 7 hours of driving. The quality...

Pros: Spacious and comfortable for long trips, Huge trunk capacity, Excellent comfort and ride quality, Premium L&K equipment, Ultra comfortable seats
Cons: DCC suspension can be noisy for some
