Yeti Minivan
The car is not without its flaws, but overall I quite liked it. With the Yeti, it seems particularly important to buy it consciously, meaning with an understanding of its pros and cons. But how to do that if you haven't driven it yet? I was fortunate that the car suited me almost perfectly.
Pros:
Overall pleasing experience, Suited my needs well
Cons:
Not without flaws

Yeti: The All-Rounder
A solid car for everything, city driving, long trips, fishing, and mushroom hunting. The high driving position and road-hugging suspension provide a sense of safety and control. If it weren't for the door rust issues, I'd give it a 5.
Pros:
Versatile for all uses: city, highway, outdoor adventures, High driving position for excellent visibility, Stable suspension offers confidence and control
Cons:
Prone to rust on the doors

Yeti Minivan
A car that has driven 40-50-70 thousand kilometers shouldn't break down at all. In fact, it should only start demanding replacement of wear-and-tear parts. That's all. I am devastated by the unreliability of new SKODA cars. It's probably best to buy the most boring car with the oldest engine and the simplest design, because all innovations turn out to be duds after a short time. It's clear that Skoda, like the entire VW Group, can't cope with these so-called innovations and the German
Pros:
Spacious interior
Cons:
High unreliability despite low mileage, Disappointing quality of new models

Yeti Minivan
Spending 100k (currency implied) you expect good performance, but the engine was replaced under warranty. In 2011, the navigation panel failed, followed by a cascade of electrical issues (AC panel twice, electric windows, engine electronics). To top it off, in 2012, the drivetrain went haywire, and I almost stopped on the track. The car was sold, and I only feel sorry for the young man who bought this junk – but that's how it is. I won't dwell on ergonomics.
Pros:
Expected good performance for the price
Cons:
Engine replaced under warranty, Navigation panel failure, Multiple electrical issues (AC, windows, engine electronics), Drivetrain malfunction

Skoda Yeti Facelift: A Practical Minivan?
It's perfectly driveable. It's not true that the engine is troublesome. The only thing to do is check the oil and top it up if necessary, but not a whole lot. The car has plenty of space, comfortable seats, and a lively engine. The only downside is that the fuel consumption could be a bit lower. In Warsaw, it uses 10.5-12 liters of gasoline, thankfully fuel prices are dropping. Regarding interior noise, let's not exaggerate. It's not absolute silence, but it's a Skoda, not a Lexus. I don't complain about the noise, especially on the road.
Pros:
Spacious interior, Comfortable seats, Lively engine, Good for everyday driving
Cons:
Fuel consumption could be lower, Some road noise

Yeti Outdoor
Hello, I've been driving a Skoda for a year and I'm very satisfied. I know that every new car typically doesn't break down for the first few tens of thousands of km, so I can't assess the Yeti's reliability yet. Overall, I was looking for a car tailored to my needs: 4x4, at least 150hp petrol, and not too big. The Yeti turned out to be the most sensible option. The build quality is satisfactory, performance is decent, fuel consumption... well, no miracles in the city, but it stays just over 9l. For PLN 100,000, there's nothing better.
Pros:
4x4 drivetrain, Satisfactory build quality, Decent performance, Reasonable size, Good value for money
Cons:
Higher city fuel consumption

Yeti Minivan Facelifted
This is my company car. I got it with 173,000 km and in 3 months I've driven nearly 30,000 km. A big plus is the 4x4 drive, the car holds the road incredibly well in corners. It also handles very confidently at speeds of 180/190 km/h. I can't comment on fuel consumption as I drive mostly on highways with the pedal to the metal. The only thing I recently noticed at legal speeds on country/local roads was an average consumption of 5.9l/100km according to the computer. The downside is the small trunk.
Pros:
Excellent 4x4 traction, Superb cornering stability, Confident high-speed handling
Cons:
Small trunk space

Yeti Outdoor
The Yeti met my expectations. It doesn't pretend to be a high-end car, but I expected efficient daily driving for work and family, some travel comfort (I chose a rich equipment level), and practicality. Everything was exactly as I expected, 100%. For its segment, the car is very well made. Everything works flawlessly. Of course, my high rating doesn't mean the Yeti is better than an Audi or Lexus, etc., but I'm rating the Skoda and what you can expect from a car of this class. I chose the Yeti.
Pros:
Meets expectations, Efficient for work and family, Comfortable for travel, Practical, Well-built for its segment, Flawless operation
Cons:
Not a luxury brand competitor

Yeti Minivan
A good car, but not versatile. You need to choose it precisely for your usage profile to be satisfied. It's a great urban/suburban car, or even for light off-road (despite lacking 4x4). However, it's much less suitable for long distances (especially on highways), mainly due to not-so-good sound insulation. Low failure rate and durability are commendable (the car still looks like new in many aspects!). The firm suspension is a downside (a compromise)
Pros:
Low failure rate, Durable construction, Good for city and suburbs, Capable on light terrain
Cons:
Not ideal for long distances, Subpar sound insulation on highways, Firm suspension

Skoda Yeti: A Versatile Crossover
The Yeti is a very interesting car. Classified variously as a minivan, SUV, or off-road vehicle. For me, it's definitively an SUV – a versatile vehicle. Its classic shape resembles a small Jeep. I like it, though that's a matter of taste. I bought a well-equipped version with the weakest engine from the first owner. The car has its flaws, but I don't regret the purchase. I mainly drive in the city (Łódź - Poland's most congested city). Once a year, for holidays in Croatia. Annual mileage
Pros:
Versatile vehicle, Unique design, Good urban maneuverability
Cons:
Weakest engine performance, Can be noisy at higher speeds
Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI (105 Hp) SUV
34,500 km
Problem: Suspension
The car's suspension failed at 34,000 km. Otherwise, it's great for people with back pain due to its comfortable ride height. Good interior space, visibility, and city agility are positives. However, noise insulation could be better, the sound system is unacceptable for a 2013 model, and the GPS is functionally useless. Highway fuel consumption is also a drawback.
Pros:
High ride height, comfortable for people with back pain, Spacious interior, Good visibility, Agile in the city
Cons:
Noise insulation needs improvement, Sound system unworthy of a 2013 model, Useless GPS functionality, High fuel consumption on highways, Shock absorber failed at 34,000 km
Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI (105 Hp) SUV
15,800 km
Problem: Radio / CD
The car has excellent comfort, silence, road holding, handling, and spaciousness. However, the Admunsen GPS is problematic, as is the audio system and engine noise at high RPMs. Despite these issues, there are no significant defects.
Pros:
Comfort, Silence, Road holding, Handling, Spaciousness
Cons:
Admunsen GPS, Audio system, Engine noise at high RPM
Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI (105 Hp) SUV
70,500 km
Issue: Interior Noises
Spacious car with a perceived quality dashboard and good equipment. However, the after-sales service is disappointing, the engine noise is noticeable, and the door plastic quality is not great. Additionally, the sunroof shade is problematic, and there was a 2-year service issue with piston loss, culminating in engine piston failure at 70,000km.
Pros:
Spacious car, Perceived dashboard quality, Good equipment
Cons:
After-sales service, Engine noise, Perceived door plastic quality, Sunroof shade issue, 2-year service piston loss, Engine piston failure at 70,000km
Skoda Yeti 1.2 TSI (105 Hp) SUV

Issue: Gearbox
Comfortable ride, but reliability issues are a major concern, with a leaky sunroof, timing chain problems, engine leaks, and a gearbox that hesitates when warm.
Pros:
Comfort
Cons:
Reliability, Sunroof leaks, Timing chain, Engine leak, Hesitating gearbox when warm
