Celica VII: A Stylish Coupe's Journey
I've owned the car for 3 years. The purchase was impulsive, driven by its looks :D It's a pleasure to drive, and economical on highways. The only drawback is poor sound insulation; engine and road noise are noticeable. Nothing major has happened in these 3 years; repairs were mainly due to wear and tear. Surprisingly, for a pre-facelift model, it doesn't consume oil. Perhaps this is also influenced by the fact that I rarely push its limits :) It has never let me down, and we'll likely stay together for years to come.
Pros:
Pleasant to drive, Economical on the highway, Reliable, no major issues, Doesn't consume oil (pre-facelift)
Cons:
Poor sound insulation (engine/road noise)

Celica VII Review
An overall rating of 4+. This is a sporty car with a sporty character, and should be judged as such, though not entirely. It handles sensationally, agile and precise, with comfortable, sculpted but firm seats. Space for the driver and passenger is good. Acceleration is also okay, and for those looking for something for the track or racing, this isn't the engine. For normal driving and occasional spirited runs, it's sufficient. Therefore, this car should be evaluated as having a sporty character, not as a pure sports car.
Pros:
Excellent handling, Agile and precise steering, Comfortable, supportive seats
Cons:
Engine not ideal for track use, Seats are firm

This is my second review on this forum about this car. The first was at 118,000 km, now after 130,000 km. After 12,000 km, I can refine my opinion. It hasn't changed much. I consider this car very successful and still rate it 4+. For all those considering buying a Celica VII. This car is for young people who drive alone. Constantly getting in and out of the back can be annoying. You have to adjust the seat every time. It doesn't return to its setting. It's a minor issue when it's the passenger seat, but
Pros:
Very successful car, Still getting a 4+ rating
Cons:
Rear seat access/egress can be annoying, Seat does not auto-return to position

A very original car, it's appealing and looks younger than it is. However, for me, it's a bit too feminine (not as much as a Mini or TT). I recommend this car to young people who want a reliable car that handles with extreme precision and is responsive. If it weren't for my engine replacement adventure, I'd consider this car very reliable. Perhaps I just got a worn-out engine example. After the engine replacement, I've been driving for almost 4 years and it's...
Pros:
Original design, Sporty and precise handling, Reliable (mostly), Appeals to younger drivers
Cons:
Perceived as feminine by some, Potential for engine issues (my experience)

Celica VII: A Sporty Icon
I've been driving this car for 7 years (bought it as my first car) and haven't had an accident or fender-bender yet. You ask why? Well, this car is incredibly fast for the city, and its suspension hugs corners like a dream. It fits everywhere, and you have great visibility from the cockpit. If you need to overtake someone, you just do it, no praying for oncoming traffic to disappear. Girls like it, so getting dates is easy :) It's a bit cramped inside, but if you fold down the seats...
Pros:
Incredibly fast for city driving, Excellent cornering grip, Compact size, easy to maneuver, Great visibility, Appealing to potential partners
Cons:
Limited interior space

Great car, offers a lot of driving fun without breaking the bank for maintenance. This is my second Celica VII, and I must admit the only drawback is the front-wheel drive; otherwise, it would be a true sports car. Despite this, especially the TS version, it allows you to feel some sporting emotions, particularly above 6,000 RPM – the valve lift engages, and the car gets an incredible boost. Additionally, time has been very kind to its body lines, and the car still looks good.
Pros:
Fun to drive, Affordable maintenance, Timeless design, Exciting performance (TS version)
Cons:
Front-wheel drive limits sportiness

Celica VII Review
The car is comfortable but snug, truly enclosing the driver like being in a bathtub. A typical race car driving position. In the back, there's just enough space for a small backpack or your mother-in-law. Someone jokingly put seatbelts there... Its very low center of gravity, despite controversial opinions, gives it a sporty character. The suspension is rock-hard; you feel even the softest biscuit. However, the traction in tight corners fully compensates, handling better than an Alfa. Sadly, the car has front-wheel drive.
Pros:
Sporty handling, Excellent traction in corners, Engaging driving position
Cons:
Very stiff suspension, Limited rear space, Low seating position, Controversial styling

A car that stands out on the street with very good driving characteristics. The car's balance prevents excessive understeer, typical of front-wheel-drive cars. The multi-link suspension front and rear definitely contributes positively, as does the suspension stiffness, which in my opinion is perfectly balanced with comfort. It's firm, but the suspension absorbs bumps well. The car's overhang is surprisingly high, so parking is not an issue, even on...
Pros:
Eye-catching design, Excellent driving dynamics, Well-balanced handling, Multi-link suspension front and rear, Good balance of firmness and comfort
Cons:
Surprisingly high ground clearance
