Corolla Verso AR10

Fantastic car, maybe I got an exceptionally good model or I don't know... The 1.8 engine might not be the most dynamic, but it's incredibly reliable. I've driven this car from 140,000 to 260,000 km in 5 years, about 20-25,000 km/year. I regularly change the oil and filters, some minor suspension repairs, and I replaced the clutch once. The clutch for this model with the MMT gearbox is quite expensive (around 900 PLN for the clutch alone), but after replacement, it works perfectly. Beyond that, I can't praise this car enough.

Pros: Incredibly reliable engine, Durable and long-lasting
Cons: 1.8 engine lacks dynamism, MMT clutch replacement is costly

Corolla Verso AR10: A Reliable Family Car

I've owned this car for almost 2 years and only had to replace the front brake pads, oil, and all filters. The engine power is sufficient, and a top speed of 180 km/h is also enough. Zero breakdowns! I regret selling it. My previous Audi B6 1.9 TDI had constant issues: sometimes control arms, then the turbo, then EGR controllers or turbo controllers, then injectors. It supposedly had low fuel consumption, but always needed extra repairs. This Toyota, however, gets 6.5 L/100km on the highway and 9.5 L/100km in the city, without a single visit to the workshop for repairs. The timing chain is maintenance-free for at least 200,000 km. What more could you ask for?

Pros: Reliable and low maintenance, Good fuel economy (highway and city), Spacious and practical for families, Durable timing chain
Cons: Top speed might be limiting for some

Corolla Verso AR10: Reliable and Spacious

If you dislike paying mechanics and love peace of mind, the Toyota is made for you. Spacious, flexible, roomy, durable with high equipment. Obviously, it lacks fancy features like lane assist or a "are you breathing?" sensor. It also doesn't advise against drinking battery fluid in the manual, but for its time, it was the best in its minivan class. The car is 17 years old, everything works perfectly, including the A/C which has never even needed refilling. For comparison...

Pros: Spacious and flexible interior, Roomy and durable, High equipment level for its time, Everything works perfectly after 17 years, A/C never needed refilling
Cons: Lacks modern driver assistance features, Basic safety warnings (compared to modern cars)
