Toyota Yaris II 1.0 i VVT-i (69 Hp) Hatchback 207,000 km

Problem: Radio / CD

Exceptionally reliable car, small, light, unassuming. Economical, with an ideal engine for city and small roads up to 90 km/h max. Perfect for solo drivers or pairs, and ideal as a commuter car. The engine lacks power and becomes thirsty on the highway, where the handling of this light car is unnerving. The plastic on the roof antenna is damaged after 9 years (a new one costs approximately 10: 12 euros), but the radio works perfectly without it.

Pros: Exceptionally reliable car, Small, light, and unassuming vehicle, Economical, Engine ideal for city and rural roads (up to 90 km/h), Ideal for solo drivers or couples, Perfect commuter car
Cons: Underpowered engine, becomes fuel-thirsty on highways, Handling of this light car is unnerving on the highway, Damaged roof antenna plastic after 9 years (replacement is cheap)

Toyota Yaris II 1.0 i VVT-i (69 Hp) Hatchback 125,000 km

Problem: Gearbox

The gearbox is poorly spaced with overly long gear ratios. A 6th gear would have been beneficial.

Pros: Relatively economical (approx. 6.5l/100km city, down to 4.3l/100km highway with light foot, around 5.2l/100km normal use)
Cons: Excessive highway consumption (8-9l/100km), leading to low range.

Toyota Yaris II 1.0 i VVT-i (69 Hp) Hatchback 42,000 km

Problem: Power Steering

Concern: Power steering. Strengths: Compact, very spacious and modular, well-equipped, reliable, smooth steering, numerous storage compartments, made in France. Weaknesses: May be more city-oriented than road-oriented, but new versions with 15-inch wheels seem to improve this. Lack of cruise control. No major issues encountered.

Pros: Compact, Very spacious and modular, Well-equipped, Reliable, Smooth steering, Numerous storage compartments, Made in France
Cons: May be more city-oriented than road-oriented, Lack of cruise control
