Jetta VI: Mixed Feelings

I wouldn't buy it again, opting for a Golf 7 Variant instead. This isn't to say I'm unhappy, but the car evokes mixed feelings. On one hand, it has a large and spacious interior for a compact. On the other, the finishing materials are outdated, terrible, hard, and squeaky, with ugly upholstery. You can clearly see it's made in Mexico. The Golf 7 is a generation more modern, even though they were sold concurrently. It's no surprise the Jetta has been discontinued.

Pros: Spacious interior for a compact car
Cons: Outdated, terrible, hard, squeaky interior materials, Ugly upholstery, Clear signs of Mexican production quality

Jetta VI: Spacious Mid-size Sedan

A mid-size sedan with a surprisingly large interior, comfortably seating four adults. It also boasts a generous, well-shaped trunk – a robust 500 liters for holiday gear. The Highline trim, enhanced with a few handy gadgets, includes everything a car should have: large front and rear door pockets, two cup holders per row, three power outlets (front, rear, and trunk), decent audio, a full set of airbags, steering wheel controls, and dual-zone climate control with rear vents – offering comfort and safety.

Pros: Spacious interior for 4 adults, Large, well-shaped 500-liter trunk, Well-equipped Highline trim, Ample storage and cup holders, Dual-zone climate control with rear vents
Cons: No major cons identified in this review

Jetta VI: Comfortable, Spacious & Economical

A comfortable, mid-size car. Large trunk, many interior comforts, excellent ergonomics, ample space front and rear. Quick, ideal engine for this car. Economical and hassle-free with LPG - a modern installation ensures reliability, computer integration, and seamless operation. Perfect for daily driving, a handsome sedan. The Highline version is better equipped than many D-segment sedans, with improved soundproofing and a multi-link rear suspension.

Pros: Comfortable ride and spacious interior., Large trunk capacity., Excellent ergonomics and ample legroom., Powerful and suitable engine., Economical and reliable with modern LPG system., Stylish sedan design., Highline trim offers premium features and refinement.
Cons: Multi-link suspension only on Highline.

Jetta VI: 3 Years of European Adventures

It's our 3rd year exploring Europe with the Jetta! A family of four, 3 bikes on the hitch, one on the roof, plus a roof box. It has never let us down, and this year was no different. This time, the distance was significant – nearly 5000 km in under 3 weeks. I installed LPG 3 years ago and have since driven nearly 80,000 km, saving a lot of money. On this year's holidays alone, we saved over 1500 PLN on fuel costs! The car is reliable, provided it's serviced on time. Important note: I recommend regular oil and filter changes.

Pros: Excellent for family trips and carrying plenty of gear., Reliable and dependable, even on long journeys., Significant fuel cost savings with LPG conversion., Comfortable for long-distance travel.
Cons: Requires timely servicing for optimal reliability., Roof box and bike racks add to aerodynamic drag.

Jetta VI: Still Going Strong at Nearly 350k km

We're approaching 350,000 km and it's still holding up. The Jetta handles the rigors of driving very well, and you can't tell it's been driven this much so far. The interior is in excellent condition, the paint is holding up, and it's never let us down. Around 150,000 km, I had to change the timing belt (expensive, over 4,000 PLN) – the dealership recommended it as a preventative measure against a major failure. The rest were just running costs. The engine hasn't burned oil so far and is reportedly in good condition. I plan to drive it to half a million.

Pros: Exceptional durability and resilience, Interior and exterior still in great shape, Reliable performance, no major breakdowns
Cons: Expensive timing belt replacement at 150k km

Jetta VI Review

A fast, convenient, and comfortable car. It handles very well, is predictable, and the engine accelerates the car very pleasantly – it can practically push you into the seat from any gear. It's quite well-soundproofed, has plenty of storage compartments, large door pockets front and rear, two comfortable armrests, and a large, spacious trunk – it works well both in the city and on the road. Downsides: the timing chain was supposed to be non-replaceable, but you need to be careful; it stretches and can skip, causing damage.

Pros: Fast, convenient, and comfortable, Excellent handling and predictable, Strong acceleration from all gears, Well-soundproofed with ample storage, Spacious trunk, good for city and highway
Cons: Timing chain can stretch and skip, requiring attention

Jetta VI: A Great Blend of Passat and Golf

I understand why Americans love the Jetta so much. It's like a Passat and a Golf in one. My previous Jetta, which I owned for 10 years and never let me down, led me to purchase this one. However, the sixth generation after the facelift offers much more than its predecessor. It's larger, providing more interior space and a more distinguished look. Most people now mistake it for a Passat, not a Golf. The interior plastics are pleasant, the steering wheel has elegant leather, and the seats are very comfortable (lots

Pros: Combines strengths of Passat and Golf, Increased interior space, More sophisticated appearance, Premium interior materials, Comfortable seats

Jetta VI: A Long-Term Review

My opinion after 4 years and 55,000 km. Average fuel consumption is 5.7 L/100km (50/50 city/highway). On country roads (80-100km/h), consumption is under 5L, even around 4.2 L/100km a few times. On the highway at 140-150km/h, it's 7L/100km, and on expressways, 5.5 L/100km. A super economical car. Zero problems. I travel with my family (4 people) plus luggage. Service at the dealership is quite expensive. I change the oil annually, not as per the computer's recommendation of every 2 years or 30,000 km. Despite its small displacement, the engine is very powerful.

Pros: Excellent fuel economy, especially on country roads, Reliable, zero problems encountered, Spacious for family and luggage
Cons: Dealership service can be expensive, Annual oil change is more frequent than recommended
