Tiguan i

I like this car. I like how it's made. I also like sitting in it and driving it. I appreciate the attention to detail in the interior. I'm impressed by the numerous practical solutions. I love its engine characteristics. But... the engine itself is okay. I've had so many trivial issues with it that the number and cost have made a significant dent in my budget. It simply requires too much attention to be fully functional. And this period of issues lasts so briefly. So I'm slowly getting tired of it and thinking about changing it. (Seriously,

Pros: High-quality interior craftsmanship, Numerous practical features, Pleasing engine characteristics, Enjoyable driving experience
Cons: Frequent minor mechanical issues, Expensive repairs for trivial problems, Requires excessive maintenance attention

Problem: Clutch

Fuel flap locking at 42,000 km. Following the pedal remaining depressed, VW decided to replace the clutch, release bearing, and flywheel at 67,000 km. Cost €2,800. No VW intervention, except for a free windshield washer fluid top-up.
