Tiguan III

Mixed feelings. The car is quite solid, pleasant, and comfortable, provided it… drives. That's the thing, because it happened that the engine wouldn't start at the least expected moment (in the morning). That's weak, especially for a brand-new car, and it casts a shadow over the overall assessment from the start. My other general impressions - the Tiguan III is a bit more comfortable than the Tiguan II. It has a rather complex powertrain (eTSi) - including a 48V motor-generator, a 48V converter, an additional

Pros: Solid build, Pleasant and comfortable ride, Slightly more comfortable than Tiguan II
Cons: Engine failed to start unexpectedly, Complex eTSi powertrain

Tiguan III

A brilliant car. I see absolutely no flaws. It's larger and more spacious than its predecessor, very well-made inside, with good bodywork and excellent factory preservation. Performance is exceptional, and the gearbox is, of course, fantastic. Mine is the R-Line version with sports seats, massage function, and a black headliner. The CarPlay and navigation are very good, and the interface is brilliant. At over 200 km/h on the highway, you hear nothing – my wife doesn't even know how fast we're going. Fuel consumption is ridiculous. No service issues in over a year.

Pros: Spacious and larger than the previous model, High-quality interior finish, Excellent factory preservation, Exceptional performance and gearbox, Brilliant CarPlay and navigation interface, Remarkably quiet at high speeds, Low fuel consumption
Cons: No apparent flaws mentioned

Tiguan III

The car looks great at first glance... I bought it right after its release, and it was a huge mistake. The number of defects is terrifying, as is its road behavior. If you think the service center is the solution, forget it. They'll change the oil and wipers, but they won't fix the defects. For example, regarding the squeaking mirrors, I was told that the German headquarters wants a recording to approve the claim, and since I had just washed the car, there was no squeaking, so the service

Pros: Appealing exterior design
Cons: Numerous and persistent defects, Unsatisfactory road behavior, Ineffective service center

Tiguan III Review

After many comparisons with EU, Japanese, and Chinese cars, the quality of construction and materials are on another level. Everything is solid and in place. Intuitive operation of buttons and multimedia. Numerous sensors and assistants, as in any modern car, but helpful rather than obstructive. The eTSI engine is very quiet, with high refinement, no vibrations - fuel consumption is superb, max 7 l/100 km in the city thanks to the start/stop system and the 'sailing' system, which is truly remarkable.

Pros: Excellent build quality and materials, Intuitive controls and multimedia, Helpful driver assists, Quiet and refined eTSI engine, Superb fuel economy in the city
Cons: Sailing system functionality could be clearer

Tiguan III

Car chosen after many analyses, considerations, and doubts. After 3 months of use, all my expectations of this car have been confirmed. Namely, comfort, space, build quality, and economy fully satisfy my needs. The doubts, mainly related to the reliability of electronic systems, have not been confirmed. The car works impeccably. Of course, one needs to get used to modern cars. Operating the electronic systems might be challenging for those unfamiliar with electronics.

Pros: Exceptional comfort, Ample interior space, High-quality interior finishes, Excellent fuel economy, Reliable electronic systems
Cons: Infotainment system can be complex for some
