V70 II: Family Gem
A superb car for the family. Exceptionally spacious and agile. After a software tune, with almost 200 hp and 500 Nm, it flies like a weasel, averaging 8 liters per 100 km. Driving this car for 1200 km in a single day is pure pleasure. The trunk capacity, with the cargo cover removed, allows carrying everything you need. I've often traveled across Europe in it with 4 people, who enjoyed silent and comfortable journeys with a full set of suitcases and a cooler in the trunk. Plus,
Pros:
Very spacious and practical wagon, Agile handling for its size, Comfortable for long journeys, Good fuel economy with tuning
Cons:
Requires software tuning for optimal performance

V70 II
A very comfortable and spacious car. Appearance is a matter of taste, and I personally like this design. I own a well-maintained example that has been with us for over 7 years. A few things needed replacing due to wear and tear. However, despite nearly 300,000 km, the interior looks almost new, indicating durable finishing materials. A weak point, however, is the creaking interior elements, which interestingly don't make any noise while driving, only when you try to...
Pros:
Very comfortable, Spacious and practical, Durable interior materials, Reliable and well-built
Cons:
Creaking interior elements under pressure

V70 ii Review
Very comfortable car, huge cargo space, fantastic seats. Great engine - for country driving. Sensational flexibility and low fuel consumption (outside the city). Excellent Webasto solution - (diesel, not electric). Besides that - a money-saving car. Although it never let me down. Always starts, always gets you there. The 6-speed automatic, despite bad reviews, works very well for me. Oil change every 50-60 thousand km is necessary. Sometimes the gearbox gets confused, it's slow but it's a classic hydraulic one.
Pros:
Very comfortable, Huge cargo space, Fantastic seats, Great engine for country driving, Sensational flexibility, Low fuel consumption (outside city), Excellent diesel Webasto, Reliable, always starts and reaches destination, 6-speed automatic works very well
Cons:
Transmission can be slow and get confused, Needs oil change every 50-60 thousand km

V70 II: A Comfortable Cruiser with Some Quirks
First impressions upon purchase? The seats are incredibly comfortable. Otherwise, this car is comfortable for long trips. It's less ideal in the city due to its size and large turning radius. But it's logical that a large car won't be as agile as a 'Smart'. Other than that, the car is flexible and relatively quiet (you can hardly guess which gear you're in without looking at the rev counter because the engine is inaudible at low RPMs). However, you can hear wind noise at speeds above 120-130 km/h. Another downside is the lack of storage compartments.
Pros:
Extremely comfortable seats, Comfortable for long journeys, Flexible engine, Quiet at low RPMs
Cons:
Poor maneuverability in the city, Large turning radius, Wind noise at higher speeds, Lack of storage compartments

V70 II: A Painful Ownership Experience
This car is a disaster, constantly breaking down. In 4 years, I spent 20,000 PLN on repairs. Driving this boat is a catastrophe; the short first gear means a lot of shifting in the city. Cracking plastics, replacing bulbs (front or back) takes half a day due to poor access. The car is heavy, and the 2.4 140hp engine is too weak. Often requires specialized Volvo mechanics as regular ones can't handle certain issues (memory-filled modules). Parts...
Pros:
Spacious interior
Cons:
Frequent breakdowns, Expensive repairs, Poor handling, Underpowered engine, Difficult bulb replacement, Plastic issues

V70 II Review: Comfortable, Spacious, and Powerful
A very comfortable, spacious, and powerful car for its time. It has plenty of power. You can easily keep up with modern "German premium" cars on the highway (with minor chip tuning on mine). The gearbox is very precise. The car is well-insulated for its segment. Of course, parts are expensive, but these were the days when Volvo was knocking on the doors of "premium" – not just in terms of parts cost, but also in finish, durability, and in this case, a powerful engine. Amazing audio, even though
Pros:
Very comfortable, Spacious, Powerful engine, Precise gearbox, Well-insulated cabin, Excellent audio system
Cons:
Expensive parts for its era
